Can somebody put me straight, At the moment it says based on my hashrate I should probably earn $25-27 a day , Now the price of BTC has fallen quite significantly , Shouldn't we be paid slightly more to account for that ? Or what ?

Every server except the main one is IN BETA. Use a failover or mine at your own risk.

You WILL NOT get the same payout every day, and you WILL NOT always get the same payout as someone with similar hashrates. Mining is heavily dependent on luck, and the servers dont always mine the same coin.

You WILL NOT make what coimwarz says every day. Mining is heavily dependent on luck.

The only stats middlecoin generates are on the allusers page. Those rely on extrernal sources for data (exchange apis etc) so if something looks odd, WAIT A FEW HOURS before complaining here. Or PM h2o. And don't base any theories on snapshots of the data.

PM coingeek if the graphs are stuck. Dont complain here.

It is a front end issue and as such will not affect your payout. What more do you need.

You incorrectly assume all/most/some people are malcontent/worried/anal about front-end issues.

Sorry but nobody is whining , They are talking about relevant things to do with "THIS POOL" And also why shouldn't we assume we will earn roughly what Coinwarz says the top three or four coins will earn ? Is H2o selling pixy dust ?

I don't just base my judgements on five minutes of hashing it's been over days so don't just think everybody on here is a plum born yesterday.

BCT-USD exchange rates have nothing to do with your middlecoin payout. If the coins middlecoin is mining (atm DOGE and LOT mostly) make gains relative to BTC, your payout will go up. If they drop relative to BTC, your payout will go down.

I've now updated my middlecoin watcher a little bit. Now it doesn't have to download the full json each time. Instead I'm parsing the json file to my own database and doing the lookup on a user basis so the load time has greatly improved.

Now I'll have to let it run for a couple of days to gather up some data then I can start to build more advanced statistics.

Just a question, how often do you reckon the json file updates? Right now I'm downloading it every 10th minute and check for changes, should I do it more often or is this a good interval to have the records in the database on?

It's not worth it.  Doesn't matter how rationally or carefully you explain it.  It doesn't matter if you can Google it and find the answers you need in a few seconds, it doesn't matter how self-explanatory mining is with just a little research, they still are going to whine, moan, and whine some more.

When you attempt to chide them, they will go all self-righteous on you--it's just not worth it.
