I understand your regrets. There are lots of coins that i sold to early. Quantum, Rep..Burst . Today morning i sold EDG, i was holding it for 6 months waiting for growth. And this growth happeped 20 minutes ago, 5 hours later, when i sold it  Grin. I was so tired to hold this coin and took wrong decision. Now i regret, and i decided always keep holding at least 30-40% of perspective coin/token and do such a stupid thing , as i did today.

It's easy to get upset when you make the incorrect decision, but we tend to forget about all the good decisions we make. Try to remember all the times you've profited when you've made a good decision. It's impossible to predict the optimal choice 100% of the time, especially when you have many coins that are constantly rising and falling. As long as you have more money today then you had when you started crypto you are good!

I'm having the same feeling. I bought ripple at a lower price. When it goes up I thought that this is the maximum and I sold it. But now I see the price of the ripple has gone to the moon. Be patient all the time. Do your own researches before buy and sell coins. Don't let your heart choose what to do. Leave it to mind.

Easier to say than done. I guess being in any market, there are many factors influence your decisions (FOMO, FUD, etc) and at the end of the day we're humans got influenced by that.

This is what happened weaklings bought at the top and they sold at the dip. They didn't just sold at the dip but the wrong mistake of not waiting for some more time for recovering the amount they purchased bitcoin at the peak. They surely now going to regret that move but still charge to experience, I have this mistake before but as the time goes by we are learning from it.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

I invested a small amount in Verge and saying the truth within few days I was in positive balance and I was happy that I chose this coin to just experiment a bit and see its real potential.

In the crypto world it's true that you should hold coins for a longer time rather than few months or <1 year, why I'm saying this is because these type of coins have a potential to succeed within 2-3 years, but who has nerves to wait such a long time and risking a good amount of money and stuck, sorry for your "loss" but there are many other coins to experiment.

Things happen right? You win some, you lose some. It’s a fixed formula. We just need to accept things as they unfold. That’s the world of trading..a combination of right/wrong choices and wise/dumb decision making.

It's shame but I assume you took profit? If you did then I don't think it's the end of the world having sold to early.

You made much profit I think, when ripple reaches 1 usd. It is a great margin I think from low rate of price under 1 USD. XRP and XEM is now 1 USD price from under 0.4 USD last month. When you hold 6 thousand I think you can go shopping now.

I had all my money on alts, starting at btc = 4k, watched it climb while the rest pretty much remained the same, one week before this crazy thing started i swapped almost everything to btc again, could have made around 6k, instead lost $$. Live and learn i guess

Well I did the same with IOTA. I bought it around < 0.5$ and sold it around 1.2$. I wanted to buy another coin as well that's why I sold IOTA. Unfortunately for me the other coin is not doing that great. Hodling is good if you have enough btc/eth/ltc/fiat to invest. Others have to rely on trading.

We are all in this together. I remembered just a few days before DOGE started pumping, I sold all my doge at 62sats with a total of $500 and with the rate at which it is pumping now, I am sure it is not ready to stop. And the funniest part is that it can be an annoying thing behaving like a FOMO, but I have learnt my lesson to always buy and HODL. No selling!

Before my practice is bitcoin alone for holding and altcoins are for short term holding. But now a days inflow of new money from investors may go to altcoins too. So, holding altcoins too is becoming inevitable for making free money.

You wont lose anything if you hold and wait it to pump again.
