Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

I don't think that Etherium will ever manage to bitcoin as cryptocurrency No. 1 because all of us know that the Bitcoin has much more users and investors in comparison with Etherium which is younger. Always was in all news that the bitcoin is on continuous increase in its market value, despite some time when its market value falls. I dont think that will happen pretty soon. If it were to happen, it would have happened long ago. The issue is that bitcoin is the foundation of the cryptocurrency community. Ethereum is second to bitcoin, but it cant be compared to bitcoin,it is just superior to the others that follow.

IMHO, ETH can overtake BTC for some reasons at a short time (for example, if top bank will suddenly decide to invest great amount of money immediately, but it's not a realistic scenario) , but on a long run BTC will win.

Ok, do you know which company was the king about phone on the world in 200x years? Maybe, you knew Nokia, this brand was the King in my country to sell cheap phone device. Everywhere, you can see Nokia device on hand of everyone. But sadly, until Samsung, iPhone and other companies joined this field, Nokia accepted to sell their company to Microsoft and bankrupt. Therefore, from the story about smartphone field, I think cryptocurrency also like smartphone, old technology will be kill by new technology.

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

It will be possible in my opinion as ethereum each the currency that already raised a lot of transaction in the crypto. But the important thing about the bitcoin just like rule in the crypto and every altcoin pegged with it. until ethereum will stand with its own value and it will not happen.

I also think that the etherium next year may not overtake bitcoin, since the altcoyins are tied to it.

No sir, no one knows what will happen in the future of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin still the number one choice of all people to invest with because of its name itself is reliable than the other crypto's. If you search to internet all is speculation about cryptos not real one, we cannot say that ethereum will overtake bitcoin because of the downturn of bitcoin today that's not the full conclusion of the situation of bitcoin.

I am a fan and holder of ethereun but i dont think that it has a chance to overtake the best cryptocurrency, and bitcoin wss runnjng in this world for long time and there no altcoin can beat bitcoin, even the best altcoin has no chance.

No it wont happen even though btc is being less and decreasing still btc will come back to normal and will be stable again just like what happen in few months. Many are still hoping that btc will be back to normal and also me i am hoping. But it doesnt mean that eth can overcome btc because if btc dumped all crypto will be affected for sure. So eth has no possibility to overcome btc.

I don't think that's ever gonna happen. All altcoins depend on Bitcoin, including Ethereum. And they are completely different in their technological base. So I think Bitcoin will yet number one.

with the current rate it is very hard to think that it competes with bitcoin.if the rate will rise to at least $ 1000 then you can seriously think about this issue
