The current low price is only due to uncertainty.
At least some sensible people here realize the current price is cheap.

I'd expect the plastic to just meld off that thing like butter. I'm absolutely no expert on chips and hope they wouldn't be stupid enough to let that be an issue, but it makes me a bit uncomfortable.
By the time these issues are resolved (if ever) your 5% will be history. More like sub 1%. You know the rate of difficulty increase don't you?? ATBEST this is a big risk and until you SEE the hashing .001 is a really good price. No joke guys see sense. My last shout on this today. Don't say you were not warned.

you made your bet and now must lie on it
future photo of labcoin soggy bagholders
Oh very mature. Lets bring up the same images that you guys used to crash the price a few days ago. I am holding and will be a very happy holder. The profits are going to be very juicy. If you want some advice, buy as much of Labcoin as you can. You can thank me next week.

blowing a bit hot and cold there aren't you, not sure whether you're coming or going..cool predictions so far xxx next week i could be speaking to future millionare I have been very emotional when the FUD's even had me convinced this was a scam. But now I see how strong the company and stock is. To kind of prove what I mean. The stock price has not moved very much at all even with the recent FUD. I think a lot of the weak hands that caused the crash earlier are now gone and this will allow greater pressure upwards. (I admit I was one of those weak hands and have been punished by losing the same share count I had. But its worth being in now we have shown strength)

can anyone help me to calculate the correct valuation based on network percentage labcoin owns? if it helps, here is current labcoin hashrate meter:

labcoin is not just a mining company, its also seller of mining devices. I'd rather bet on a shovel seller and miner, than just a miner in this game. Your poncy fud pictures might be making you bitcoins at the sheep's expense, but until there is any concrete news it's just bullsheet and very disrespectful. Its obvious that they are not doing a runner with our coins or that would of happened after the IPO, instead we are getting communication and updates. My advice to shareholders is to switch off your monitors for a week and don't look hard else you will just see what you are expected find by the fud flingers

If we assume that 1% of the network means a share value of 0.004 obviously this will remain if Labcoin maintains this hashrate. When Labcoin starts hashing they will have 3 options all dependent on how much of the profits are re-invested.
1) Put breakeven amounts back into create more chips and developing more advanced chips. This will keep Labcoin at 1%
2) Do the same but put too little money into the company, and Labcoin will start to lose that 1%
3) Put more money into the shares to gain more network control as the years go by.
I think 3 is the best option, because it will mean greater value for the shares down the road and can excuse a high share price now (above 0.004)
However many people really think that with a constant 1% of the network maintained by 25% of profits reinvested the shares can maintain a value of 0.01
I disagree with this and think its rather short sighted. The most important point to determining the value of the shares is to correctly determine their future value.
I would like Labcoin to perhaps consider a increased re-investment at the expense of dividend payouts. (perhaps a 60/40 ratio, with 60 dividend and 40 for reinvestment)
I see this as the correct course of action for a sustainable company to hedge against network difficulty going up too fast.
Any thoughts on this?

Don't worry about their FUD, I used to buy into it and it lost me some money. I am being much stronger now and so is everyone else. Look on BTC-TC buying pressure is already back. I think this is the end of the FUD train.

meh 130nm technology, I'm out.
this has always had me on the fence, but now that bitfury is shipping I just don't see the place for these guys
Someone posted on the AM thread that it costs AsicMiner $1.32 in electricity to mine one bitcoin. If that is true then Labcoin's first batch will have no problems serving it's purpose before the new batches hit.

Well the last FUD train resulted in constant selling pressure over many many hours. It took Swede and Labcoin posting here to stop the FUD. This time some sucker sold 20k shares and without any news buying pressure returned straight away. I really do think that any amount of FUD is now useless.

I'm not expecting it to just go up and up like a bubble, but 30% increase is feasable.
