Just wondering if ETH can
Everything is possible, but Bitcoin is such a big brand that it's going to be hard for anyone. Since there's more ETH in circulation, having ETH at the same price as BTC would mean BTC's marketcap is much smaller than ETH's - which would then mean that Bitcoin is dead, which would then crash other altcoins as well and the story starts again..  Lesson here: don't bet against BTC. |

I think that there is a possibility for ethereum to reach bitcoin's value. It could possibly happen in the future. Still, there is no guarantee that this could happen and at the same time there is no guarantee that this will not happen. The best thing to do is to wait and see. |

I think that it is possible but it will take a long time. ETH has a huge potential in the market but BTC will continue to rise and everything will just follow.

ETH's price may be higher than bitcoin in the future because it has more relation with the real world so I think it is better and now it is holding the second position which is the evidence for its potential.

I do not think ETH can pass the BTC. BTC is still flahship
ETH has potential, I do not doubt it and investors should have that opinion. Movement of value is quite remarkable. But I also think it's hard to pass the bitcoin value. Maybe it could happen but in a long time. |

It is holding third place now. It really shock me to see Ripple took Eth's position. I do believe ETH will be the No.1 cryptocurrency in 2018 or 2019. |

I think that many people dream about this situation. But, in the shortest year this is unlikely. Bitcoin has grown strongly in price and popularity in 2017. The etherium has great prospects, but so far this is not enough to achieve the cost of bitcoin.

In my opinion, ETH is unable to go beyond BTC, because many countries recognize bitcoin, but it does not recognize ETH, and ETH still needs to develop for a long time.

Just for the sake of speculation, any value is possible for Etehreum. I like to think in terms of market caps or total value rather of in price of individual units. The market is now growing and any prediction is valid. |

Ethereum was created actually to surpass bitcoin like the other altcoins. But taking a consider of it, the price of eth is still away from btc, it will take time for it to happen. But if their relationship will turn inversely proportional to one another, eth rises while btc sinks, it is possible.

Yes ETH can reach BTC's value but not in the near future,ethereum and btc shares problems like poor transaction confirmation speed,congested network and small blocksize.
Well, I think in the cryptocurrency market, everything has a possibility. However, for now, I would say that there is little to no chance of Ethereum reaching bitcoin's value because, even though Eth may be the second-most known cryto in the market, it still lacks the experience that bitcoin have accumulated over the past decade that contributed to the reason why it reached its current value. Also, seeing comparing the growth of the two coins, almost all altcoins in the market have grown quite slowly since bitcoin gets all the attention and the only one that is benefiting from it. |

Possibilities are always in crypto currencies. Many events in crypto currency that now existed but is unexpected. And there is still possibility for Etherium to reach the price of Bitcoin or even to surpass bitcoin but not any time soon. Anything can happen here. No matter how much we believe in bitcoin, possibilities of its downfall and altcoins to rise is possible as well.

If the high transaction fees and slow transaction continues, ethereum may overpass botcoin's price.
Ethereum itself started to have some transactions problems but still cheaper and faster than Bitcoin. I don't think it can over pass Bitcoin in price soon because of actual big difference in prices and because Ethereum supply is more than 5 times bigger than Bitcoin. |
