Can ETH reach BTC value ?

I am not sure it will happen.
It will really take years for Ethereum value to reach Bitcoin value because the gap is so much that more development will be done on the Ethereum blockchain to make it significant for it to push up the value.

Maybe in the future, there is a chance I believe. Bitcoin value started from low value. Just like any other cryptocurrency. Its just that bitcoin become popular to investor so it becomes the #1 cryptocurrency. Ethereum has a potential to compete in bitcoin . Some uses the platform of ethereum. But I really sure that this year will still become bitcoin year.

I do not think ETH can beat Bitcoin. Current market capitalization of BTC is $ 104 billion and it is more than double the value of ETH. You can see ETH has worked very well in 2018 but its capitalization can not grow too much. I will always believe that Bitcoin is still at No. 1 and ETH forever remain at No. 2 even though they have done well.

You are right. It will be an extremely difficult task for Ethereum. Bitcoin lost a lot but it still remains the number one cryptocurrency with a great market capitalization. Probably, in 2-3 years it might happen.

It's hard to get ETH equal with bitcoin.  All created altcoins want to pass bitcoin.  But I see the entire altcoin market is dependent bitcoin prices.  It is impossible for an altcoin to pass the BTC even ETH.

Because Bitcoin have less supply and less rewards than ethereum project . also Ether is never meant to compete bitcoin , it was to be used as gas fee only . supply of ether is much more than btc so it will affect marketcap if ether cross or even go close to btc .

seen from market cap and volatility, eth has a big chance to reach bitcoin. even though it takes time. maybe 2-5 years ahead.
