No, I mean something else.
If i order 4 drillbit boards you will send me free 4 stack Miniplane. Is that correct point?

What does it mean this sentence:
"The 4 stack Miniplane comes free with any order or 2 or more assembled drillbit boards."

"The 4 stack Miniplane comes free with any order of 2 or more assembled drillbit boards." Thanks for pointing that out.

Yes.  Grin

AH yes to be totally clear, you get one miniplane if you order 2,3 or 4 boards. If you ordered 6, you would get two.

Cheers

I'm glad that you provide a mini-backplane for each 4 boards, this is inline with your initial idea of "stacking". But I have a question regarding power supply.
Is it possible to supply mini-backplane by other way than ATX connector? Initially you stated we could stack cards 4 by 4 and then using a Molex connector for each, we could supply multiple stacks.
We need to supply mini-backplane with a smaller connector than ATX, if not we would need a ATX power supply for each 4 PCB stack, and it would be a shame! I can see 3 pins connectors beside ATX cnx, but I'm not sure their purpose. Or can we connect any of the 4 PCB with a Molex and it would supply other 3 cards?

After the Avalon (Yifu) scam, October sounds beautiful (but I hear you). An yes, the difficulty is getting higher, but if we get the boards in late October, they can be profitable for a few months. And who knows how long if the price jumps up.

Yeah I was actually looking at either BFL chips or Avalon before I found out about BitFury and this thread. But i couldn't find any BFL group buys nor did I want to build a board using THAT much power.  And Avalon was too slow but the price was nice until I found out batch #3 was canceled so I scrapped those ideas and went back to looking at FPGA's lol.  And with that difficulty going up I do feel like the price will raise with this.

OK, just wanna check one thing before I order.
I will be ordering through PayPal, and as we all know shipping is not included in the price.
So my question is: Will you PM everyone when you have the shipping estimates or do you get an email with a PayPal invoice?

Hi Barntech,

Put me down for 2 more complete systems (My last, I promise!) at $620. Pay Pal Confirmation -  1N478680DE6962341

Please confirm and just add it to my last order(s) of 2 placed yesterday. Cash total $1240. So, in total, one back plane running 4 boards.

Thanks,
IAS

Yes, check the OP, there is a "chips remaining" counter.
Still 800+ left at the time of this post

What's the thought or plans for the future given you've clearly put a good amount of effort into making the boards stackable with various backplanes?

Is it only 'we did this to enable people to purchase multiple boards on this order', or perhaps 'we plan to offer opportunities to purchase more compatible boards throughout the year that have BitFury chips', or 'we see opportunities to keep providing compatible boards even if we have to switch chip sources', or (ominous music) 'we did this to get someone else to fund our own super-massive scalable mining rig, MWahaha!' :-)

Seriously, I can only put in for one board now (and have done so).  But all the people commenting that they've placed multiple orders made me think: Should I be totally discounting the stackable nature because it will be useless for anything in the future?  And, should I sell body parts to go for a second or more board now because I won't be able to get one later?

I think you're stressing too much. Even if you miss out - like what you're saying (which I doubt you will), is it such a huge deal to use a USB hub?
