Just like the majority I prefer to invest on ethereum , ripple as speculated by everyone controlled by banks and they could easily manipulate the price however in ethereum it is widely spread and has a lot of potential . Yes you are right. For diversification in this case, it is not necessary to invest in 20 or more coins. But I didn't write like this. This is the purchase of several coins. For the past 3 quarters of this year it shows that all coins are really affected by the bearish market in this includes ETH and Ripple but i don't see XRP team making a move to contain this market difficulties but i read news that Vitalik Buterin is very busy of improving the ETH transaction speed of up to 1 Million transactions per second that if this will become successful then for sure ETH price will bounce back so better choose ETH over XRP for now.
