good afternoon, so the "Polyswarm" project will work as a large smart anti-virus network, increasing efficiency and protecting systems of all kinds?

If there is any confusion over whether a twitter account or website is "official" then google the ICO/company concerned. Beware of Google "promoted results" as they are often fakes.
Googling still obviously don't solve this problem of confusion since both the fake and real account have the ability to still turn up in your result.

Yea, as the name implies, is probably going to be a beehive of programmers and developers, constantly creating new innovations that will help fight cyber-security issues, which is a very serious issue and break the monopoly associated with such, hence the easy accessibility of highly beneficial products

Yes I saw this video early on, it is very good way to start with the video before proceeding to the white paper It gives immediately the necessery insight in how the security experts and companies benefit from this tech A long whitepaper, even if technically perfect and very detailed, can scare some people away. I must admit, sometimes I just don't want to go through dozens of pages of a whitepaper to check if the project is interesting to me. Such a short video is much better to arouse interest. Same. Sometimes when i read a whitepaper i don't understand it by making this type of videos it is easier to understand. It is short and quick. I must advise you guys also to read the whitepaper if you want the full details. Because it is all there. I think both are necessary for us to understand sometimes people talk about stuff that is not in the whitepaper land sometimes the video's do not tell us everything then we search it up in the whitepaper.

Great article from the Polyswarm CEO with some encouraging words about why they decided to run an ICO and operate as a blockchain project. A lot of companies are starting ICO's and you look at their projects and think why do we need a decentralised pizza delivery company or a decentralised porn website? is there an actual need for projects like this? I feel like people get carried away and see the crypto markets and blockchain as a get rich quick opportunity, it's nice to see Polyswarm aren't doing this and it shows me that their project has a lot of integrity, more of this please!!

Exactly, the video explains the basic mechanism of the platform and the role of the blockchain, but token mechanisms and more detailed explanation should definitely be looked up in the white paper

Videos are great for short marketing like what they’ve been doing but in the end like was said it’s best Polyswarm focus on using written media and articles to try to explain the deeper fundamentals. The system in the end is a pretty far reaching idea to really fully understand so it makes sense to break it down into perhaps short explanatory videos AND white papers as well as diagrams to really get the explanation across

Polyswarm not selling all their token shouldn't give investors concerns, the minimum funding goal was reached in the private sales so the project will go on with 100% dedication and focus. I believe Polyswarm token will be sold out completely tho.
Yea mate. You are right. Reaching the hard cap already means for sure that further development will be taking place in not so long time from now. It's should serve as a source of confidence to investors that finance will not be any form of problem to the project Reaching the hardcap will ensure that the Polyswarm team have the optimum level of funding to help develop their project, it may provide extra funding so they help pay for increased marketing and advertisements.

Hello mate, thanks for sharing this very important video in this thread. I don't know why I don't always bump into these videos myself, even though I follow them on social media platforms.

They can also just focus on making videos and articles at the same time. But i don't think you can give all the details of a project in a short video. Doing both is the best.

Really nice Video. A short but sweet Video. I liked it very much, people who are security expert and wants to take part in Bounty should see this video Nice short but detailed video, where does the threat detection come into play and who's software is it which will run the malware detection system After seeing abov video I got redirected to another one which is an ICO interview w/ Steve Bassi, CEO of PolySwarm. Not sure if this was shared before here, but i think you people might be interested in this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGPod8vhXRM

Thanks to all who replied about the token supply.
I understand that if the project is really good, the supply should not matter. However it's pretty much basic knowledge in crypto that projects with a lower token supply (less than 1 billion) have much more chance of being profitable. We can't just ignore that.
Also, every ICO seems to be tanking in the current bear market. Storiqa just showed up at CMC and it's being traded at 1/3 of ICO price, ouch.
