It has a slightly different idea. Ethereum is a platform. He has a lot of competitors now and I would not buy it. Be careful and invest only in good projects. It's best to buy good tokens when they fall in value. Now is a good opportunity to buy Ethereum, but I would not do this

I think that Ethereum is going through hard times now, but I believe that in the future its price will return to 1000 dollars

Ethereum is good and it has a bright future. The blockchain is fantastic but with all the criteria and the qualifications, ethereum is far from being the next bitcoin. It can only be the number two.

Ethereum to be the next Bitcoint I think is still difficult to achieve, ethereum is indeed a strong and good coint but as the king bitcoint cryptocurrency is not easy to beat, until now it is still the leader of crypto coint, etherem and bitcoint both have their own features - respectively

of course the etherium and Bitcoin are very well combined together in the crypto-currency market. But nevertheless, the etherium is much more in demand than Bitcoin, although the situation can be corrected if Bitcoin are used as a means of payment.

Ethereum isn't trying to be the next bitcoin, it's a development platform and virtual operating something, it's cryptocurrency utility is just one tiny fraction of its potential. The answer therefore must be no, because they're looking to achieve different goals as cryptocurrency.

I generally believe that Ethereum and bitcoin do not see each other as competitors, everyone has their own goals, plans and prospects. You don't have to ask such questions.

Judging by the situation that develops in the market, no one will replace Bitcoin. This market drawdown made it clear that bitcoin is much more stable than altcoins and holds much more confident
Well, I think bitcoin was ready for this, given what happened to it in January. So I doubt that bitcoin will allow a second such bubble.

Etherum is etherum and bitcoin is bitcoin. Their is no way etherum could be the next bitcoin in my own opinion. Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and every coin depends on it. Bitcoin has gone mainstream and also await further adoption and some countries have legalized bitcoin

Ethereum is a good coin, but I do not believe that bitcoin will ever give up its leading position and give way to altcoin.

So many hopes were awakened on ethereum for some time, but now it seems the hopes are dying down gradually. Nonetheless, i still foresee a good future for ethereum. It might not be the nest bitcoin, but it will surely perform well in the crypto space. Bitcoin will always take the lead and for now it does not have any rivalry.

Yeah! Me too.. bitcoin is the head of all coins in the market and it cannot be replace in immediately with others coins like ethereum because it is hard to reach the bottom of price, popularity and the uniqueness that leads its platform more in demand and trusted coin.

The currencies are very different to even compete among them, bitcoin aims to be the standard of transactions between cryptocurrencies and ETH is a company/platform that specializes in development with the blockchain, so despite being in the top of marketcaps, they are not direct competition.

I think Yes, Ethereum will, probably, be a future no.1 cryptocurrency, it is simply better than Bitcoin and provides much better use cases. Bitcoin’s purpose is to be the virtual currency of the internet, and it uses the blockchain to do this. Ethereum focuses on the bigger problem.

Why people are always looking for the next bitcoin? Bitcoin will always stay bitcoin. I cant see any competition between this coins, they have different purposes.

Not for now, now ethereum is still the second crypto coint after bitcoint, it's still hard to be the next bitcoint, as the king of bitcoint cryptocurrency is still hard to beat

I wanted it to be so, but it will not happen. I think that the market will not show the same growth as last year. To that de ETH there is no such potential to repeat the success of the BTC.

I don't think Ethereum is a substitute for bitcoin. That will never happen. These coins have different functions.
