Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?

Its these people are intelligent enough to get out from these coins when bitcoin is started to show some bullish and bearish movements.Altcoins are bleeding when bitcoins are moving this is the the mindset of most  of the people that is why we need to go with the flow if the market has crash and you are trapped with these altcoin,how will you buy from the dip if your funds are in the altcoins?

the price is still pretty, so I immediately sell it. I also have long wait for token in list exchanger, so after token is on exchanger and I exchange to eth, I immediately sell it.

many people have less knowledge about Cryptocurency. Most people are afraid to loss there money. and they want earn 10x in very short term.
they think bitcoin is a bubble. they think that they have lost their money and so they sell

This is a case to case basis. In a wide variety of coins, not all of us hold the same kind and let us admit it, not all coins will survive. Not all are for long term. Some coins die sooner than expected. Maybe this is one of the reason of some people. On other cases, they must have this fear of losing it all thus panic selling. Long term coins are not meant to be panic sold. This is one of the reasons why traders must know their coins capabilities so as to not sell them at a wrong price and a wrong time.

They are into panic selling that's why. Afraid to loose big profit so if BTC fall down traders sell their altcoins because they are based their altcoin price in BTC.

I'm not selling anything at all. Recent storm in the market is totally normal. Prices have been rising for a long time and the market needed a big correction.

Actually, analysis predicted a retracement, so you could have thought to sell and re-buy at lower price. Not so many investors did it, because a big retrace like this wasn't predictable.

Anyway, since I am in this crypto world I've learnt to HOLD. If you have invested in serious project you should stay quite certain that they are going to recover soon or late; it is a different story if you bought shitcoin that pump and dump unreasonably.

If you're expecting only a minor dip it might not be worth your time to go in and set up trades, but when the market is in a steady downturn like it is now it's just silly to hold bags.

Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? Well in my own experience I could say that I will be selling my altcoins very soon as long as the altcoins that I have will be able to reach the market value that I am expecting for it to reach, I don't wait for the altcoin to reach to its highest market value... as long as I am able to get back what I have invested for that certain altcoin and along with even a small profit... big profit or small profit I am OK with it as long as I can sell them so soon because I really hate missing the opportunity in selling them when their market value is still high.

Coins are in now volatile. In this dip, people are much tensioned about the market crush. Though altcoin has bright future, people are selling it continuously.

I think people expected a crash for the chinese new year. Still a little early to say but I think they're more or less starting to stabilize.

Because there are so many to  chose from. if something isn't giving you gains than move on to something that is. There is no value in holding a dead weight in this market. Some people here are saying that people expect x10 in a day, well i do get x10 every single week by simply moving around altcoins. i'd be disappointed not to get at least that. How can some of you go so wrong, look for up and down candlesticks and buy on the low sell on the high. zzzz

Yes most of the users were expecting a crash and it didn't happen which is a great news for us even though there was fluctuations but not a crash and some people believe in negative news about crypto more than the positives

Some particularly promising coins I continue to keep on my wallet as well as bitcoin, as I believe that their price will be very high. The rest of the coins allow me to earn here and now, this is my main cryptocurrency income.

Well i am totally against to selling alt coins in their current states. Same thing goes for bitcoin too. All coins are very cheap now and it doesn’t make sense to sell them while you can sell them for 2x or 3x min in the near future. Patience is the key guys. Keep calm and don’t forget this is a circle.

Well I hold my coins. Not selling them when I do not have to. I do cryptos for new infos and some few bucks. I think that's the main purpose of using alts- to lessen fees and for trading since that it's cheaper and easier to use than bitcoins. Risks are quite low.

I think people sell because they use alts as simply for alternative. They don't actually trust it as a storage instead they make money then transfer it in a wallet which they really want.
They don't see the value if altcoins because they are blinded by the bitcoins prices
