Not s scam, but here is more info. Coincraft A1 ASIC chips are produced in China in Innosilicon factory according to Bitmine.CH design and produced for Bitmine as ordering party.

http://www.innosilicon.com/

Does it mean some worker was stealing or maybe some other way thief(s) obtained them (stealing in shipment?), I'm currently unaware.

However I am aware that each tray is 9x21 meaning one tray has 189 chips, so a thief have stolen approx 10 trays and maybe some extra he/she/they could put in their pockets.

Technobit was regular buyer from Bitmine, as well as AMT.

Yes, I'm quite aware of the connection between AMT, Bitmine and Technobit. AMT sent me a miner to review and to alleviate some fears about their legitimacy. I think they failed in that, as they haven't alleviated MY fears about their legitimacy. However, the beast runs Technobit HEX16B's, and I have followed Technobit pretty much since their founding. They were first to market with an A1 based miner. Well, hashing board, anyway. AMT is still dithering.

But what I was referencing was that the note, when translated, mentioned AMT and Bitmine, but not Technobit. Just found that a bit odd, given that Technobit has more exposure and success than AMT, and probably at this point than Bitmine. Why leave them out if this is Legit? (or perhaps certifiably illegitimate, given the subject...)

The numbers make sense in light of your new data, but why two NEW accounts posting the same "warning" in the AMT and Bitmine thread? I smell fish.

I'm not getting into who's fucking with whose brains because I haven't got the time for that.

What I'm however glad is that we figured out where chinese rigs come from.

So for you to understand Biomech, your AMT rig was assembled this way :

1. chips from Bitmine
2. PCBs from Technobit
3. their own final assembly (AMT)

Why not from Bitmine ?

Since Bitmine at that time had problems with their PCB issues.

Whether only for 8 or 10-chip board is yet not known (to me), but let's hope Kev.in comes up with more info so you and I, and we all will know what problems were and which problems are solved. To my knowledge there has been a problem with scarcity of tantalum capacitors, not available last week anywhere in Europe in any assembly facility for SoC pick-and-place. If that was the only problem and is now solved, things now look very prommissing.

And now with this resolving of chips theft happened as if not more things can go wrong Smiley MURHPY'S LAW INDEED Smiley

Smells fishy. But those other three NEW accounts (skyfromwell, seeksilence, haevenstar) smell even fishier to me.

Edit
Why Technobit wasn't mentioned? Maybe because Technobit isn't selling 1T miners, and wasn't perceived as a direct competitor.

Dear Mr. XXX,

at this moment your device is passing the final test on production in order to see if everything is working as it should be. If everything is going as planned will be shipped this afternoon, otherwise it will be shipped tomorrow afternoon. In any case I will communicate you with the exact shipping date and the total extra hashing power that you will be receiving. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Mine was a bitfury rig.

But anyway, yes, somebody is playing head games. Just not sure who. Oh, and AMT hasn't delivered any Bitmine based miners yet, or had not as of earlier today. Just some of the older Technobit/bitfury based miners. Which are quite nice, but not real fast.

...
It basically says that have stolen a small quantity of chips from the bitmine factory in china. They plan to make 47 miners and want to mine with them first and sell them and deliver them late. They say they are creating fake companies here in this forum to try and pre-sell them.
...
So, that's where these 50 miners came from
http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1swrtyBsp9odruX65upeyubAVSAyggh78
Started mining on 30.1.2014.
They are now trying to sell them in two or three threads here in custom hardware.

Confirmed.
Also, on the photo of a board they (skyfromwell) posted on flicker, there you can see A1 written on chips.

So does that mean that they're now using twelve chips per board in the Rig and ten boards in the big rig.  So a total of 120 chips?  Meaning you'd need to be able to get 23.3GH/s per chip to get the quoted maximum of 2.8TH/s.  What kind of power would be needed to get 120 chips up to 23.3GH/s each?
