Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Will try later turbo mode to see how it goes.

I also see that ARM CPU usage is now quite high, about 70%

My refund is due on May 10th. If I don't have my refund or a payment confirmation by May 15th, I'll take action. I'm going to draft the law suit (Vermittlungsbegehren) in German. Since I work in a swiss lawfirm, it's easy to do that and it will also be waterproof (takes me about 1 hour). I'm willing to share the draft with you guys, you only have to fill in your dates an provide me with the necessary e-mails. Since bitmine is located in the canton of tessin, we have to file it in italien. I also don't want to drive 3 hours to the mediationcourt. Therfore I'll hand over the law suits to an lawyer who is located nearby bitmine. So we either have to translate the files in advance, or the lawyer is going to do this for us. If we hand him over several law suits, the costs will be manageable. Basically the lawyer only has to attend at the trial.
I'll keep you updated.

My first refund was due on April 19th,

Do you think, given I've filed yesterday my second one, I could have waited a little longer, but given how they're treating us... do you think it would be better to send a letter (with delivery notification) just for the case they try to say that they didn't receive my second request?

The first one got a couple of email confirmations, so I should be OK with that.

Wonder why so many HW errors though

TODAY I GOT MY REFUND IN CASH.  Kiss

$6,308.00  for a 1th Rig was the original price, paid on November 2013
$6,804.82 is the amount of money that I received yesterday from that losers.

Finally I can quit the post, and forget forever this horrible experience, at the end of all, it gave me about 500$ of earning, but is from November that I'm fighting with them.

Hope for all of you to get your miner/refund.
Now I'm going to see how can I invest my money for another miner, I think that I will buy from Cointerra, if everyone has suggestion, they would be very appreciated.

I will upload a proof of the bank transfer from my bank to all of you to give you some relax.

Good luck to everyone scammed by this losers.

@Bitmine, you have done all the possible to make this experience HORRIBLE, I think that before learning how to produce hardware, you need to learn a little bit how to make business, if you only communicated properly with me (and other customers), without LYING ON ANY ANSWER, maybe I waited also another month to get my miner, but I felt cheated from you, a lot of time, and my money doesn't grow on trees.

I got my refund in cash today!

ca$h Huh?

.. you was there .. in Tessin?

.. with a gun in your hand  Grin
I ment in money not in BTC Cheesy sory I did not express my self ok Tongue

I heard 2 guys get a refund in BTC, I got mine in money Smiley

Whit these 2, it makes a total of 4 confirmed refund..... ( might be 1 or 2 i over lookt her in the forum)

Then their is only 9999996 to go ;S (me included)

My refund is due on May 10th. If I don't have my refund or a payment confirmation by May 15th, I'll take action. I'm going to draft the law suit (Vermittlungsbegehren) in German. Well so do i, and are still waiting...

so at the moment, nop its no help.... (might be in court.. )

Giorgio,

instead of wasting time here, I've been waiting for a refund for more than 40 days now, do I need to file a bankruptcy request to get back my money?

spiccioli

were are you located? if i dont get my money back within THEIR Timeframe i will drive by. It is only 4 hours away.

And when you're there what are you going to do?

What advantage gives you a trip to their offices?

spiccioli

good question.
If that case will be, i think i will answers why i hav'nt get my money back within the timeframe?

if they dont want to talk with me then it is no excuse anymore. than their are official scammers.

and the world need to know.

This has bin, a Confirmed, and, official, scam, for over 60 days now...

So what more do you need to know?

Copy past form my own msg 2 days ago (now 35 days sins refund demand):

Hey all of you.

About 33 days ago i told you all i filled for refund in line whit the ccp. and i promised you all to keep you updated....

To update, as its over 50 page's back, in this tread...

My order was for delivery first week of dec., (last delv date 3 dec. NOT shipping) all payed in time and so on....

Now whit 5 months delay and no sign of a miner....

33 days ago i filled for the refund + 10 % as ccp state...

I got a mail, telling me they got my msg and its forwarded to their accounts department (like they even have one ;S) .....

33 days later and still NO SIGN OF BTC OR MINER....

This was, is, and will always be a SCAM

(If you don't believe me, read the hole tread, and the real official one (this is not it, this one is bitmine.ch controlled and they shut it down on will) and see mine and others big warnings here ;S)

So stay clear of this scam.... Wink

Don't wast your money.... if you are really interested in mining? join a cloud mining team instead, no waiting, no customs, no risk, no electrical bill, no hardware failure or 24/7 baby sitting you equipment, you don't have to do any thing but get payed, and if you want out? you just resell any mining power you bought and get even bigger return on your investment.... and you can invest even small amounts of BTC (like 0.001 btc) ....

Her is 2 great teams, and i my self has tested and using both, pay out every 10 min to your account, no mater how small (start small and reinvest if you whona test it out first, if you don't believe in it, don't just take my word for it, test it your self... )

h ttps://cex.io/r/1/blackice666/0/
(Not further protected, investment return runs out i November 2014)

h ttp://scrypt.cc?ref=bab7d
(This is scrypt mining, counted in Kh/s not Gh/s as its different (heavy-er to mine, alt. coins and no asic mining) this IS further protected, also for the new no acis N-scrypt and J-scrypt)

(Remove the "space" in the HTTP, it would not allow me to write the url directly ;S )

You wont be disappointed believe me ;P my own investment have jump't up around 160%+ the original investment, in the last 30 days.

Just saying, happy mining to all of you Wink

Peace and out !!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

soft/firmeware update ?

Dear all,

We are finishing to test the latest firmware internally, this took longer than expected because it will allow users to overclock/overvolt their systems and as such we had to make sure this won't affect the systems even on prolonged use.

We are quite confident that within the end of the week it will be released, this is the preliminary list of changes that have been done:

*) Fixed OpenSSL heartbleed vulnerability

*) Fixed web interface issues with Apple iOS-based safari browser

*) Fixed an issue with recent generations of One-Wire temperature sensors

*) Added thermal shutdown and automatic recovery

*) Added over/down-voltage ability both with basic preset settings and advanced settings, leading to an increased hashing rate.

*) Updated cgminer to latest version 4.3.0

*) Optimized cgminer's driver with up to 20% less CPU usage on Raspberry Pi system

*) Stepped back to diff-1 jobs so that HW errors will be detected earlier and the displayed hashing rate will be more consistent with the effective hashing rate

When it will be released, the new firmware will be linked here and also announced on our newsletter.

hey, giorgiomassa.

why are you even working on this? is this for petamine?

be-curse, it can not be for the normal customers, as only a handful (6 maby 8 ?) has a miner yet, even though, its more then 150 days late...

so i test the new clocking options, these are the results that i get:

power save ultra
~710 Watt = ~740 GH/s
0,95 Watt per GH/s

power save moderate
~770 Watt = ~808 GH/s
~0,95 Watt per GH/s

power save light
~940 Watt = ~940 GH/s
~1 Watt per GH/s

normale mode
~1040 Watt = ~1020 GH/s
~1,01 Watt per GH/s

turbo light
~1140 Watt = ~1080 GH/s
~1,05 Watt per GH/s

turbo moderate
~1330 Watt = ~1140 GH/s
~1,16 Watt per GH/s

turbo extreme
not testet, because the system starts for a second and than go down... i think it can be a problem with the psu, i musst test it

the HW in alls mode are under 1 % -> i get this result with the tool  "cgremote"...

Thank you Wolke for this detailed report, can you tell me what PSU do you have mounted in the unit?

That you even have to ask that, just show how incompetent you hole operation is, and surly sounds like you have not even solved you PSU shortage/problem yet and that's over 60 days ago....

So no people have miners or refund, and no miners leaving the warehouse, so why are you using money and time on firmware update??

Send the workers home and just refund us please.... (don't wast my money on work i don't need any more, and use the money you get from sending home all your useless office people and workers to repay what you ow us all..)

The miner is worthless at this point (and have bin for aprox 60 days now, at least whit prices for power where i live)

Explanation is 120 days over due....

Toughs ho are starting legal cases, please also keep me updated, and would like to join you also, don't speak a word in German, not to talk about Italian;S

I'm also reporting them for fraud at my local police, think its might be the government her their pay for any legal pursuit out side my country. our police is kinda hardcore and follows crime even in to muslim countries, so might have some kind of effect....

God luck to all of you, ho got scammed by bitmine.ch ;(

You can begin, by taking down, the directly lying and fraudulent sale/shop on bitmine.ch...

Their is, NO WAY, that your production, even comes any where near finishing the November/December batch any time soon, not alone later sales...

You should stop robing people...

You are so much casting the shadow of shame over your own country and people ;(

If i did that in my country i would get very hurt ;(

You should really be ashamed of how you robed people from their hard earned cash her...

Requested the refund today of my full paid order  #x876 from December 4, 2013
My patience has ended, because If I will receive a Bitmine.ch product now this will be useless due to the increasing diff.
Even worse, I saw many rumors about bad manufacturing of Bitmine.ch's ASICs.
I believed that Bitmine.ch is a serious company like KNC, but the facts demonstrated that this is an over-exaggerate comparison !
I will NEVER pre-order again anything or BUY especially from Bitmine.ch !

To clarify about the peta-mine situation:

Peta-mine has only received around 1/4 of their rigs ordered from bitmine.
They equally suffer from delays caused by bitmine and havent received any big amount of hardware from bitmine for all of April.

Granted, if you have a bigger order it will be easier to receive compensation for late delivery or other problems that are in the responsiblity of the manufacturer.

Hardware being mass-deployed by Peta-mine is manufactured according to their own design and only uses the Bitmine/Innosilicon A1 chip.

It is not too far fetched that peta-mine will change their remaining 3/4 order from manufactured units to chips.

If this happens, every other customer will profit from a faste shipment of their pre-ordered hardware.

Peta-mine is an operation with public shares traded on havelock and not owned by an individual.

Why are you even criticizing some ones skill in spelling/education, when your own, grama, punctuation, missing uppercase and line management is terrible... ?

At least language is different from country to country and its easy to make mistakes if your writing in a language that are not your own (Like i do her ... ) , the errors YOU make are universal to the alphabet used in English ;S

Just think its ridicules to flame any one on swpelling on the internet...

And clearly, your not whit out your own faults, so get down from your high horse thx.

But what ever ;S

Don't want to shoot you down or anything, and thx for clarification/update on that...

But.... "equally" ? ...... 1/4 is more then most (1/4 of a huge contract, is not small numbers, compared to the 6-8 confirm delivery to normal costumers), and differently, more then nothing.... something is better then nothing, so it must be for toughs miners, mostly, that the firmware update are written/patched/programed to, as almost no one else, got any miners...

My point was, just, that it again, looks like, the big (semi) secret contract has first priority ;S
(But it makes even less sense to work on firmware update, if, also peta-mine are missing most of their miners, especially this late)

And i also find this very to be hard to believe in, as, from bitmine.ch own words in this tread, that they have set up, a total different, second production line, for peta-mine, along side the production of normal costumers equipment (means, that the advertised...: In no way can any one jump in the production line, if they ordered later then others! ....is then, not true, any more)

That does not sound like only chips delivery, to me, any how ;s

And the fact that they can mine (in huge numbers, making the difficulty to raise much more quickly and greatly decrease income, compared to what earlier costumers would have made if they as advertised had got their miners before any one else according to the order list) and have done so the most of this year, no matter that its only 1/4 of their contract, its major damaging to every one else, not considering any other lose on the 150 days delay, in the bit-coin world, 150 days is a lot ;S And i for 1 would no more be abel to turn it on whit out loosing money, so it effectively a paper wight for me at this point, i suspect, that it is the same for a lot of people, and it don't matter to file for refund as they told us earlier, i quote: Why don't you just file for refund then? end quote! I did and be-curse they don't pay it any way.... 35 days wait on money, and counting...

Just saying...

The first one got a couple of email confirmations, so I should be OK with that.

spiccioli

I filed my refund request on the 7th of April. They replied on April 10th, that they received my request and already has been forwarded to their credit team. Of course they haven't refunded me yet.  So with your first request you should be fine.

I'm not sure if they're pulling off another scam not answering the request anymore. But as we know bitmine, anything is possible.

If you write them a "normal letter" (in Switzerland  calld A-Post (fast) B-Post (bit slower)) they could say we never received that letter. I front of court you have to prove, that they received their letter. Therfore you should use registerd mail (called "Einschreiben", costs CHF 5.30). With this method, they have to sign the receipt of your request. If they don't sign it or don't pick it up within 7 days, the letter is considered as received. If you want to be 100% sure, you use this method.

English description from swiss postal service:
http://www.post.ch/en/post-startseite/post-geschaeftskunden/post-briefe/post-briefe-versand-national/post-briefe-einschreiben.htm

If i don't get refunded within 30 days, I'll give Bitmine a notice of default with a registered mail. From this point on they have to pay 5% interest in addition to the 10%. If they persistently refuse to pay me, I'll go to the end and drive them into bankruptcy.

I have to stop browsing this forum thread. Getting more angry everytime i log in   Grin
