To buy or not to buy - that is the question ;)

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

I don't think there is only one true answer on this, for example for me bounties just a hobby I even sometimes forget that I'm participating somewhere x) So I usually hold especially if see that project is good.
But  I know there are dozens people from such counties like India, Nigeria (many others) for whom, bounty is really an only way of getting money and you understand what it is for them, when they can't sell their tokens

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Do not sell coins at once! It's a loss of coins! Hold to the last! First, they will go to the stock exchange, and then they will rise in price.

If the project reaches the hard cap, definitely there is a huge chance for people to develop the mention things on the roadmap. So instead of selling them for low value in the market, it is good to hold at least 6 months.

It all depends on the situation on the market.  If the market is unstable as of now, then it is better to hold the tokens.

I prefer to keep tokens.  Usually the price immediately falls on tokens, but after a couple of months it starts to grow.

if you are a bounty hunter and you get a prize then hold it and keep it and when the price of coins is high then you will get the benefit that many suggestions from me clever is to sell and hold your coin and look for a lot profit and earn money that much so that you do not lose in work.

If you immediately sell tokens and get a good profit, then I think it is worth immediately selling the coins.

It is often better to immediately sell tokens to make a profit.  But sometimes it's better to hold the tokens for a few months.

Hello! I think there are many hunters who do not understand this market. They do not calculate the future value of the tokens they receive, and they immediately sell them at initial value. Many other hunters, they quit their current job and just sat at home looking for bounty. So they have to sell the bounty right away to buy food

Now is not the best time to immediately sell tokens.  Most often, when the tokens are released to the exchange, the price is lower than the ICO price because of a bad market situation.

I think we should hold our tokens. They can be put on the floor and they will be greatly appreciated. So let's wait for them to come on the floor and sell. I would not be the first choice to sell, I will choose to hold, because I liked the tokens, and participate in the bounty thread get tokens, low cost, holding long-term is worth it.

If I don't think the project has basis I will surely sell the coins, if the project has a basis then I will keep the coins. Needless to say CrowdMachine is a hype project.

It simply goes into two ways that when you hold your coins but it goes to wasted or be dumped in the future you are the one will suffer. I always keep them always on my wallet because they're indeed pumping since I first have them. Always is better if you reinvest or hold your tokens, not convert them into fiat.

In fact, a lot depends on the project. Sometimes during the bounty campaign I'm so disappointed in the project that I sell all the tokens right away because I lose faith in the project. But more often than not I believe in the project so much that I keep all my tokens even if the price falls several times lower than the price of ICO. Everyone should make his choice.

Mostly depend on the company because i hope it is good to hold the coins after distribution and development of the will take time so, it will always good to hold the coins for at least 6 months in order to make more money on it. If you find potential in the project.

I do not want to sell assets, but I must meet the needs as you have said. I only sell  reward from campaign social media, reward from my signature always hold and I will sell 50%  if the product of his project is launching and running.

Better hold, cause almost all bounty hunter who get free token will sell their imediatly and will make the price fall. If that coin or token really worth better hold id until the price go to moon.

Yes, your right, its better to hold because time will come if the market will stable.

The decision is always good because if you sell them you might lose the value once they start developing the product, after listing in the exchange every coin will take some time to cross the price of the ICO. So it is always good to hold until the price start recovering.

I suppose many human beings just don't hassle to have a look at the mission they may be running for and consequently sell their tokens in advance. I always have a private observe for each bounty campaign so I recognize whether or not I need to unload the tokens immediately or preserve them for destiny.
