WOW. I don't know if it is good news, or bad news, but i received my two x-1 units that i ordered from black arrow, 11 months ago, today. No emails or anything about shipping. Didn't plug them in yet. Not really dying to either. Woulda been a little excited about them 4 months ago, now, blech.

The packages both say DHL, but i didn't notice if it was an actual DHL carrier dropping them off or if they were delivered last mile by fedex or something.

BFL_Updates

We are happy to announce that Butterfly Labs is shipping Monarchs!

You can follow shipping updates on Jody’s shipping blog.

These Monarchs run at 700 GH/S with a power efficiency among the best in the industry at 0.70 W/GH (+/- 10%). We also offer boards running under 700 GH/S (in the 360-650 GH/S range) that can be used to maximize hashing power received (see details below).

Those who have closely followed the Monarch development will notice that the 700 GH comes in above the 600 GH performance specification we originally mentioned, but below the 1TH/s level we are aiming to achieve based on the strength of the underlying ASIC chip. While we have achieved much higher speeds on test boards, our engineers are still working towards a board solution that will deliver higher speeds within the power consumption, and the temperature range required.

Based on customer feedback, we are providing lower cost, goodwill options that revolve around the total amount paid with a price reduction to $1.97/GH (effectively $1,379 for 700 GH). The configuration of your order will change and we need you to select the option that works best for you. We will send an email with options listed to each customer as their order is ready to ship. We intend to move through the queue as quickly as possible, so your prompt selection of an option is appreciated.

Here are the options, all of which replace the configuration of your previous order:

Increase the hashing power in your order up to the total amount you have paid at $1.97/GH. We will ship your order with the best configuration of inventory possible.
Select an offer of total hashing power in the best configuration of inventory possible and rebate the difference to you.
Cancel your order and receive a rebate that can be taken in bitcoin or as a cash refund (wire or ACH)

If applicable, once your order ships, or if your order is ready to ship and we have not received a response from you within 48 hours, we will deactivate Temporary Cloud Mining.

Customers who purchased Cloud Mining (Mining by the GH) will receive individual offers for their cloud mining shortly before we deploy their hashing power. The options include receiving an extra 1 GH for every 1 GH originally ordered or requesting a refund.

Customers who requested us to host their Monarch equipment will need to apply $2.50/GH in addition to $1.97/GH of their paid amount to host their hashing power in the cloud.

Please watch your inbox for a customized email explaining your options.

More details to common questions are available in the Monarch: Questions and Answers forum post.

Thank you for being patient and for being a loyal Butterfly Labs customer. We truly value your business.

More power than an S3.
More cost than an S3.
Slower to ship than an S3.

BFL has perfected the trifecta of shitty mining companies. Come on BA, you're right on track for unseating BFL for being the worst shipping manufacturer!

I've seen consumer alerts on the Consumer Council's site for companies with 70 complaints.  I do not see Black Arrow listed.

is it possible that not even 70 people filed a complaint against Black arrow after all of their actions against customers and all of this time.

the council does take action, will visit the business if it does not respond,  and has legal actions at it's disposal, but they're not going to do much if people don't actually let them know there is a problem.

stop waiting for 'someone else'

they're fucking YOU.  do something about it.

Maybe we can buy their email list like others already?

Then we could notify everyone of the complaint procedure one-shot.
Lol that'd be really genius actually. I wouldn't mind seeing someone do that Tongue

Have a chat with XBTec,maybe if enough well known customers inquire, they would share  Wink

So yesterday I finally got my X1 from MS   Embarrassed

It's a bit of a weird feeling because it's actually build really well, works perfectly, looks great and it's really silent....it will just never ROI  Undecided

I've got the one with wifi and lcd touchscreen, works and looks nice but to be honest, once you set up the miner no one will ever use that shit again.

So overall it would have been an awesome miner......back in februari

is this guy the owner of black arrow software ?
https://www.facebook.com/alex.sovu

According to the Articles of Association another user posted here, the name is certainly accurate. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716310.0  There's a lot of interesting reading to be done about Black Arrow Software and their association with Alex Sovu who is rumored to have a reputation/background for fraud and scams according to this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=193129.msg2242650#msg2242650

You can see the past and present information of the directors of one of his other companies here, which is a matter of public record:
https://www.opencompany.co.uk/company/07035674/bbyte-ltd

It's interesting to note that his partner seems to have something of an identity crisis when it comes to her name, which includes both Cristina Iulia Ixari and Mrs Iulia Cristina Ixari.

see this page.

they have not denied to this point that this is the same guy:

http://portal.just.ro/300/SitePages/Dosar.aspx?id_dosar=30000000000012214&id_inst=300

I suspect his partner Iulia is now the BA 'customer rep' Julia.  According to those documents, she was sentenced to 3 years for her part.

Has BA mined and are they continuing to mine a fantastic amount of money all on our dime?

Sure have and MinerSource is learning from their example by ripping off their customers. This whole nightmare leaves the worst taste in my mouth. How companies can act like this; and get away with it, disgusts me.
