Hello everybody.

Since yesterday in the afternoon, I have one X1 without rPI, but I have a lot of poblems.
The first, temperature all the time is 80 grade, but y need do undercloking to 800Mhz, because at 3 or 5 hour, the X1 stop mining.
The second, I can see this message all the time

Software update available: V1.4. Click on update to install.

I click in the Power ON icon, but nothing happens. When the X-1 is reboot, I can see the same  message.
I tried connect with SSH but the X-1 tell me Access denied

And the last, I had a lot od HW error, about 18% or more.

I read that KANO, do a nt CGMINER for MINION, but I can't update the software.

Could you help me, please?.

Thank you in advance.

I get tons of errors at 800. Try 1000 or 1100.

So basically, they took forever to ship, and when they did ship (a couple of X-1's), the product does not work as intended, has a ton of hw errors, and is a total fail.  Basically they spent all this time to deliver a "superior" product, but ended up producing a lemon.  Does that about sum it up?
Yep, that's right. But the lemon won't explode!  Wink

No, but warms up and does not work. I changed the speed to 1000Mhz and HW error is now 28%. It is worse. I think taht we need update the software, but I don't know how it's done.

I don't think this is an isolated incident, I have read many times where the thing will not run for more than a few hours, what happened to all the testing BA was supposed to do to ensure that they run?  Guess the 5 days of free hosting was another lie.

Oh man I am so happy that I jumped off this ship.

But what's at fault the minion or any one of the three other boards that make the miner. Looks like too many cooks spoil the broth as they say.

I hope it's not the chips for the sake of those who opted to go with the "Marto Miners"

Marto, did you have any issues with the chips when producing your boards?

How did you jump ship? I guess you ordered from a reseller and they agreed to refund you?

I don't know how he did it, but the reseller I bought from agreed to ship me comparably priced hardware. More than doubled the hashrate i'd be getting with the X1

I would not start celebrating just yet. Blackarrow said they would not do any refunds until after shipping all orders. Have they sent you the BTC? If so please post the tx.id

And at this rate of shipping, refunds should start around Christmas.  Cheesy

Do you know what is such a sad state of affairs? Back in November I was looking at three companies that had miners I could order for Feb 2014 delivery. I wanted to order from Bitmain but they were sold out and I didn't know when then next batch was coming. Also the S1 was only 180 GHs and the other guys were 1 to 2Th.

So instead I looked at Blackarrow, Hashfast, and Cointerra. Of those three dogs I thought  BA had the least fleas.  Forward to today. Hashfast is bankrupt, Cointerra is going down fast, and Blackarrow is slowly sinking.  Bitmain is the only one that is thriving.  Undecided

Well, my new guess is we never get X3s but instead get an offer to upgrade to new efficient PCI based miners, with 5x the hashing power, cost only 5BTC to upgrade.

Order now or lose your place in the queue! Haha. At least with Josh we got disdain, trolling and sarcasm. With BA we just get the cold shoulder.

They didnt even break up with us via text or email. Just poof, out in the rain with a cold and lonely power supply.

As if we didnt need more red flags, the page for the X3 still says its a preorder that will ship around May 15th 2014:

http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-3.html

So Im guessing their new order rate is probably nil at this point and they are just trying the get as much legal protection as possible (and hide as much coin/cash as possible) before bankruptcy.

What a disaster.  Months of delays and they are shipping miners now that don't even work.
