okay so ... umm... I just got my X-1's .. or well 2 of them?

Werent they supposed to ship the compensation units along with the originaly ordered units?

They never actually answered that question when asked directly many times that was another hustle to generate funds and prolong the hustle out further cause people were getting antsy . They got people to buy PSU's with nothing to plug them into and they are specific to their units lol man these guys are good lol . Best thing anyone could of done was to make a switch to make those things usable with any miner like people did with server PSU's

Also you had to order at least 2 x-1s to qualify if i remember correctly so no single orders  Wink

And would you have been more likely to order those 2 had it not been for that compensation deal. Or just a single unit to get your feet wet . Plus to get that 3rd unit up and running we'll throw in a PSU for under $50 thats less then most PSU's on the market because BA loves you. Roll Eyes

If he has his order already, he ordered way before there was any solid proof that this company was a sham. Way before there was any talk of compensation or the idea that it was better to buy 2 than 1.

has not sold out

Mate, I ordered on the 26th of september. So yeah, compensation wasnt really an issue back then. And no, im not going to spend 50$ on a psu, when i can just fix them to run off an ATX insted..

Someone needs to find out what was done with all those bitfury miners they bought. It totally seems like a misappropriation of the funds from customers. Something beyond ineptitude took place here.

Okay

So, setup both miners. running ~100Ghs at 1000Mhz - seems okay. I'll let em run for some time and see if they keep going.

Just for information:

I ordered 1 x-1, back in september. Order number was 12x, Payment via Paypal.

After waiting like all of you, i requested refund in June. They answered with the same mail every request für refund was answered. No further contact.

Monday this week i got my x-1 delievered. Custom was no problem - payed through DHL (Austria)
One day later i got shipping information from BA Smiley - a little bit late - like everything else....

Now its working stable at about 120 GH, 8% Errors.

i think my story is showing, that there is real chaos at BA's location.

Unfortunately, getting PayPal to pay up for an order that long ago is very hard. It's definitely worth trying, but don't get your hopes up. When using PayPal, always be sure to open a dispute within the allotted time (45 days).

It all really depends on who is on the phone. I had paypal reverse charges for my BFL orders about 120 days after I made them, it took a few times calling to get the results I was looking for but I did get the money back.

They sold the bit fury miners.

None of it makes sense. There were pics from one of bob's trips over there, they had the things set up and mining it seemed. At a time where they were turning over sales of their own items to resellers as to not handle it, they then some how magically acquire a competitors brand of miners to sell at their store? BULLSHIT.

This has been brought up at least 3 times.
The bitfury boards pictured were built using their in house design and a client's chips back in October/November of last year. They were hosted at BA for the client, and any additional boards they built mined for them as they sold them off on the store last year. As far as I know the last boards were sold months ago.

We shipped another 100 X1s today.

How many do you need to ship to clear the backlog? I hope it's not in the 1,000s. If so, it may be some more waiting.   Sad
