Will try again today to get at least a answere from them.
Good luck getting a positive reply from them. I sure did not get any helpful or legal reply from them over my 3 requests from them. But good luck either way, you might need it. Ive decided to engage the US consumer authorities and with the feedback ive got from them already, im happy and confident they will inform Minersource how they should and will resolve my complaint. Edit, Dan from Minersource has been able to resolve my situation. I have received an email showing my exchange of order has been accepted for other goods from the Minersource online store and that shipping and tracking details are to follow. Thanks Dan, your efforts are very much appreciated. |

Minersource don't seem to want to do the right thing by their customers so they have now been removed from my Christmas Card list. Not sure they will give a flying fark either way though somehow. Good luck explaining why you refuse to adhere to the law of commerce Dan, Bobsag or whatever your name is. Update, Minersource are back on my Christmas card list. They have offered to exchange my order for other items in their store and I already have shipping and tracking info.

Obviously no one's dancing-with-kittens happy about any part of this fiasco, but he's actually made an effort to do the right thing. I say that without bias as I wasn't actually even one of his customers for the BAS order (although I have just taken part in the technobit/minion exchange he just organised with Marto). |

The only reason I have mentioned Bobsag is that he shows "Minersource Owner" in his threads. I have had no contact from him in that name, I have only had responses from Dan in any correspondence. I have already stated that I agree that BA have shafted everyone, including the resellers, however, as ive also stated, my contract is with Minersource, and every attempt ive made to try to give a reasonable solution has been met with "sorry, cant help you here" I honestly didn't think that a business that claims it is trying to do the right thing would have so much trouble in actually doing it. Also, its all well and good if you are happy to take chips in exchange in value for what you have spent, but chips are no good to me at all, therefore useless to me. I cant see why they cant exchange goods to the same value from what they claim to be in stock and ready for immediate shipping in their website. Edited later following contact from Minersource. Edit, Dan from Minersource has been able to resolve my situation. What I find hard to believe is that a company (BA) with such poorly qualified staff in every possible way was able pull one over on someone like bobsag3 when he was there in person. Twice. Take that statement whichever way you want.
Bobsag3 has done fine by me, I have no complaints any longer, but I do find it odd the way this has gone down.
All these people pretend like it takes hours of additional work to write a post that says "shipped ### units today, processed through order ###". After all, that's all the customers want to hear.

X1s are really light, really really light. 0.5 is obviouslly wrong but the actual asic PCB is smaller than a credit card in area. Taking some pictures now.
Btw, dont expect to be able to open the case. Most of the screws are machine closed and require drilling out.
