KYC for airdrops may be seen as necessary by the company, but for the potential recipient it should really be a red flag. Airdrops are usually very small amounts, and it is simply not worth the risk to share such valuable information in exchange for what is probably just a couple of dollars.

I think in the future almost every project will require bounty hunters to pass KYC. I understand that in crypto anonymity is first of all appreciated, but you can see how many bots and multiaccounts are now involved in the bounty. This is also a problem that needs to be addressed. Therefore, bounty managers are forced to take such measures. But as for the airdrops, I would not trust them and did not send their personal data.

We give the most valuable personal information. And we get a small reward. The risk is too great. I will not go through this procedure, because I cannot be sure of the security of my data.

I never joined airdrop so I don't know if airdop is now asking for KYC, and that is very surprising to me ... if KYC for a bounty in my opinion is very reasonable because we invest months for months but if KYC is only for $ 10 I think it's a big fraud

Personally I don't see KYC as a bad idea, the only way it becomes bad is when at the beginning of the airdrop campaign it is made known to hunters and at the end the team now introduced it.

To undergo the process of KYC only to profit from airdrop not worth it. Forget about the five dollars and understand what harm can cause you KYC. Especially if you participate in airdrop, there are hundreds of them, and the chances to stumble upon scammers are much greater.

I think if team don’t make ICO but make Airdrop distribution , that is good idea for KYC. But whan it’s just 5% airdrop from token value and you don’t want to invest in that project, then KYC process isn’t necessary.

I do not see the point in this. It seems to me that KYC should be conducted for large investors, and not for the participants of airdrop.

Airdrops are normally often just a few dollars worth of tokens or coins, most airdrops are worth between $1-$10 so i don't see any valid reason why people should go through KYC process to receive this tokens, also KYC itself exposes a person personal data and unless the project is good enough and I am investing my funds into it, there is no reason why I will do KYC for such project.

I also don't like KYC in its entirety because your giving away a piece of your personal information to someone you don't even know. This might lead to information leak. And now they are doing it in airdrops which is suppose to be a simple "register and get free token" process. I think its not necessary in airdrops. I see its importance if your an investor but not as a hunter.

Aidrop for me is only those people will attract on their project to claim it with lot peoples as you can see there are only few airdrops right now because of bull run that may cause a price of free airdrop will not profitable.

Right now, in my 2 years experience i have to do kyc for bounty only for JINBI.

It's not a big deal for me if the project is serious.

Is the airdrop worth 1000 USD or more?
If not then i will never do KYC in airdrops, this is not worth to do so.
I will only do KYC if the AIRDROP is in the exchange and the token will give me more than a thousand USD.

I can't think that someone is giving KYC requests for airdrop, it's really ridiculous. Airdrop was born to help many people know about the project, it usually takes about a few tens of thousands of people, it will take a lot of time to complete KYC for the whole

in my opinion there is a possibility that a team from Airdrop wants to avoid multi accounts.

Usually projects that organize the Airdrop campaigns are new. And I don't think it right to give my security information to a new project. Because I can't trust a new teams that much. Therefore, I prefer not to participate in the airdrop campaigns that want KYC.

I don't like it for any reason on bounty campaign talkless of airdrop which I can't even do for any reason if the token is worth more than what it expected to , I don't see any reason there should be kyc on all these as many are just not comfortable with it and it is very wrong for crypto that we called decentralized and now we submit kyc for such , what is the anonymous thing about it then .
