The Eligius miners have dropped off to almost nothing suddenly after all this speculation about them being ACTM chips arises...

coincidence?

I think it was testing to get things setup. Ken will officially announce and start-up the miners on New Years Day.

Or he could have been testing units to ship out.

I'm curious why we would mine on a pool as a mining farm? Would we not have enough TH to solo-mine?

The more hashing power the better the odds of finding a block.

I think the odds are the same just the variance is lower with the higher hash of the pool. Averaged over enough time the income should be the same when mining solo or on a pool.

Should we no longer look towards the Active Mining PR account for updates but rather stick to Ken's account?

Maybe we'll have an interesting update for the new year...

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

Yeah, they may have advertised better than VMC, but with that 'little' snafu they bought themselves a lifetime of ill will akin to BFL.

So it's Wednesday, any one here looking forward to an update?

It's also new years day so I'm not holding my breath. Although Ken posted on christmas day, I don't think that should set a precedent.

Very understandable, but anything short of "here's pictures of our chips" or "we'll be going live on CT by Friday" would be disappointing. I HATE being a negative nancy and all that, but shit, we should be in full volume production by now.

Oh, and I'd love to hear ActM's hosting plans for their self-mining farm; new facility or garage where assembly is occuring?

I think it's possible we might never go live on Crypto-Trade. The reason, in short, is the legislative body that regulates listed securities in the US.

If we consider that Ken has now created a real player in the BTC industry what should his main focus be?

What would you do?

Would you put the company at risk of prosecution by going live on a securities exchange again? Or would you wait a few extra weeks for Coloured Coin implementation?

I've no idea what Ken's plans are right now, but it it were me I would go the conservative, safe route at this stage. Why risk what we have spent so long building up just to bring share trading a few weeks further forward?

Last I checked coloured coins are in beta (so skipping CT is plausible) and much like VE brought up a few weeks (months?) ago, having a significant chunk of change locked up without access can make one... unhappy
