It shows that either you or zumzero was telling lies. If it was zumzero, then why should we believe anything else he said?

I'm not being funny but can you explain that a bit more. I just don't get it. If it's because I said he was banned but now he's posted well he told me via email his IP was banned and that was the last I heard from him. It seems he has somehow got back on here. Maybe his IP wasn't banned?

Sure.

And to top it all I heard from zumzero via email today that he has received a lifetime ban from bitcointalk. He says his IP has been blocked.

Obviously, he hasn't had a lifetime ban. So, if the email was real, zumzero is a liar.

This is not about someone being right and someone being wrong Jo. I am painting a picture for everyone so that they can see both sides of the coin.  Now ask yourself, regardless of what would be the best course of action out of the two being discussed, which one has Ken chosen?  How does Ken think?  His actions so far suggest it is the latter.  Recent demands may well indeed have him changing his tune and we could find out tonight, but the way I see it, no news IS good news (edit - until after we are trading again).

"Now ask yourself, regardless of what would be the best course of action out of the two being discussed, which one has Ken chosen?" I believe I did this and I told you this and you didn't listen. Ken has all but dropped saying ANYTHING about shares getting on an exchange for three weeks now. NOTHING, he has said NOTHING about getting on an exchange. This is officially on the back burner. He has said and I quote "100%" of the companies resources are NOW devoted to building out machines and getting that entire situation set up. Ken has stated this in an Update and a PM to me.

Please reread what I have said. Don't say anything to me, just reread what I have said. I have proof towards what I am talking about, you do not.

Do not tell me when I can and can't reply.

I have re-read your posts and it's clear that your entire argument rests upon the assumption that Ken has a need or desire to trade when we go live.  It rests upon the assumption that Ken is motivated entirely by the fear of prosecution for insider trading.  That is absurd.  For whatever 'proof' you have it is sandwiched together by your opinion, speculation, assumption and your arrogant self belief that you can not be wrong.

Vigil was wrong about his theory and I may be wrong about mine, but would it hurt you to try a little harder and have a grown up conversation instead of name calling and resorting to juvenile, 'I want the last word' behaviour?  Yes, it probably would.

I think he thought he had a life-time ban as his IP was banned. It may have been unblocked now? It doesn't make him a liar. I wish you wouldn't try to stir up arguments. It's all you ever do. It's such a petty little point anyway. Good day.

Wow!  There's a blast from the past! (That's ten years in Bitcoinland).
How are you doing Mabsark?  You ever win those 1000btc from Labcoin?
Either you didn't and are back here in a desperate attempt to salvage one or two, or you are here to turn your 1000btc into 2000btc.  Want me to take a guess?  Tongue

When they lifetime ban you, do they just block your IP or do they ban your account too?  If its just IP you could just log in from somewhere else, no?

So, looks like after few hundred pages and many btc enthusiast have also become linked to Kens mind and can read it.
Chiromancy at it's best.

How do you guys come up with all those "Ken will ...." or "Ken did...." or "Ken is going to ... " statements? Are you linked to him via some unknown dimension and can read his mind at will?

If you guys can really read Ken's mind, maybe you can get this guy to show up here and give us a real project and financial statements. How fkn long we need to wait for this?

Or is this mind-meld of yours only unidirectional? Truly amazing stuff, never the less.

Cheers!

While reading what I wrote, use the most friendliest and relaxing voice in your head.

I don't know the details, all I know is he said he couldn't log in, his IP was barred. That may have changed or he may have got round it I don't know.

The bolded part: The pot & the kettle my friend.

My entire argument doesn't rest upon any assumption. I am stating facts and the only logical deduction that can be made from these facts. Whether ken wants to trade or not does not matter. What matters is what Ken's announcements have been about. In the last 27 days, Ken has not mentioned shares once. He has mentioned getting miners asap and building them out asap and amount of revenue made of the year and that all resources are being devoted to getting miners built out. Idk where in there you are getting that this means Ken is gonna have shares online before he gives out information since he is already giving out information and refuses to answer anything about shares.

I am all for having a grown up conversation and if you plan to keep the part of me calling you a fool a couple hours ago as a knife in your pocket to pull out on me at anytime then maybe you aren't ready for a grown up conversation. You are calling me juvenile now so I think we can call it even.

Now if we talk about facts and purely facts.

Ken has said nothing about shares for 27 days but has mentioned a plethora of other things, this is what I'm basing my argument on. What are you basing your argument on?

Nope, but speculative trading of Labcoin actually saw me far better off than if I had just held ActM. How many people now wish they sold their ActM shares when they were going for more than 0.005 BTC?

Did zumzero specifically say he had a lifetime ban?

i cannot believe that refunds are only by cheque and not in BTC, I am flabbergasted that this seems to be a minor detail.

Are you talking about VMC? or HashFast?

HashFast's thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262052.6600
Website: http://hashfast.com/

The VMC's thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389343.100
Website: http://virtualminingcorp.com/

I am not aware of VMC billing or taking payment in BTC directly and offering a refund in BTC. That was the HashFast idea. When you pay on VMC you are billed in USD and pay with BTC at the current exchange rate through an intermediary service.

no VMC. I paid in BTC, through an intermediary yes, but i am not in the US, so a USD refund cheque is a pain in the ass for me,i am not even saying i want the btc that i paid back, just the USD amount in BTC. you would think that a company that operated in this economy would use it.

HashFast at least are refunding in btc but at the current $exchange rate.

HashFast at least are refunding in btc but at the current $exchange rate.

The difference being that HashFast lied about refunds being in BTC, then tried to change the TOS all ninja-like (and failed) and are now saying they will not refund in BTC.

Ken always said returns would NOT be in BTC. It was not a mystery and was even asked directly over a month ago to which he responded very clearly that VMC is a fiat business and thus will give returns in fiat.

This is very important to us.  This is our moto: "If You Make Your Customers Successful, You Will Be Successful".  Now that being said we have no control over the difficulty, so we are working on R & D to make our machines run faster.  Now, here is our promise to our customers, if at anytime before we ship the machine to our customer and the machine will not return a positive ROI within the first year, we will at their option refund 100% of the purchase price of the machine.
Not sure what "if at anytime before we ship the machine to our customer" means. Also, is this ROI promise in BTC (20BTC investment must earn 20BTC in a year) or fiat ($5k investment must earn $5k in a year)?

The machines are priced in fiat, so the promise is in fiat.

REFUNDS.  Any refunds due to Buyer will be made in United States Dollars, and for the purposes of calculating refunds, amounts paid in Bitcoin or other virtual currencies will be deemed paid in United States Dollars at the exchange rate given by VMC to its customers on the order date.  Refunds for partial order cancellations or returns will be adjusted for any discounts previously given to Buyer for volume purchases.

"Yes your honour, the defence council's case rests upon the fact that for three consecutive weeks the defendant was not seen on CCTV cameras around the home of murder."

This isn't getting us anywhere Jo, I'm happy to leave it if you are.

What is everyone's fascination with Zumzero anyway?  Vbs, now there's a guy who really mattered.
