Today you need a few different accounts in good ICO and the only way to participate will be sending fake data for at least some of your accounts. And its very funny when some projects decline real docs for some reasons (why? just get my money - all your legal advisors is a circus) while fake docs been taken without any problems.

Sending in fake ID for KYC is a criminal offense. Send real identification for the kyc requirement  there nothing to scared but KYC might be the blueprint for the fall of crypto currency.

It is a gamble to send fake data and find your account frozen at a later point of distribution. For sure not an easy task checking IDs from dozens of countries.

Yes i agree with you mate nothing bad to sent real identification for the kyc requirement becuse if have no hiiden agenda there nothing to scared sending real ID. Sending of fake id have a risk becuse have a lwa about that fake ducoment and that is a criminal offense.

Yeah i will agree,as long as the kyc ID identification that we submitted was verified and no question for that. Its no a big deal because you give your identity as they needed and the important of that was you are capable enough to trust the cryptocurrency by giving your government ID or lets say a verified ID to process the KYC successfully implemented.

I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

Better not to join in an ICO that has a KYC requirements. Besides you can buy those coins in trading platform once it is listed. Base on experience you can buy ICO much cheaper because the trend is it is always get dumped  to alower price than the ICO price before it pumps up.

It will be better than to say sorry, because you will never know when will these IDs be sold to the darkweb,or it might be used to any illegal activities and your name will face a lot of lawsuits, that is why we need to be more vigillant get some fake IDs so that you will be safe to any bad situation in the future,do not trust anyone except yourself.

Those who sent fake data may feel secure right now, but if it is later discovered they sent that data they are not going to receive their coins at the end of the ico, in some countries doing something like that is illegal so they will have to choose between losing their money or risking to spend some time in jail, does this means you should send your data? No, avoid investing in any ico that asks for it.

Sending a fake id will suffer you in the end because a lot of verification will be process and in the end of the day if want to get all your money inside your wallet maybe there will be a consequences happen because of not telling the truth. So you will lost your money either.

I never thought to try it before. But now it makes sense. The squadrons do not have the time to examine and verify each KYC individually. And by doing so, you will be able to get the money from the desired distribution.

I'm avoiding those ICO that needs KYC it's very hard for me to show it on public coz they will know your identity and im sure in the future they will get information about you.

It is the wisest idea that you could ever do so that your privacy wont be compromised because you wont know when will these people start selling off our IDs,sending fake ones would be enough to secure our privacy in the future. Its better to prevent than to cure,we shouldnt be trusting anyone except ourselves this is a very good move!

It's becoming a hot topic now, two years ago this has not existed, I will not do a KYC thing even if the project is good I can easily buy those coins when it hit the market, so why participate in a KYC you are selling your protection once you do KYC.

This is why you sometimes see people submit the same id and get rejected from the ico.
They are all buying the same set of id's.

One case is when ICO manager said that all participants must follow KYC. You can chose take part in such ICO or not. But a lot of ICOs introduce KYC for investors when they already sent money and for bounty hunters when ICO is ended. How somebody can said that sending illegal documents is no fair?

I tend not to trust people in general. If you are really sure that fake documents have gone through for the registration process, then there is no doubt that they simply collect our personal data.

Very good option if you really dont want your privacy be compromised you can also do this for your own safety, because i have heard people's ID was sold to the darkweb so just to be safe you can do this, because you will never know when will these people doing KYCs will sell your informations for the sake of the money.

Might be a good idea because if these people who are doing KYCs will sell our IDs and information we will still be safe because we have sent fake IDs and our real informations wouldnt leak to the public, because we wont know how these people will use our IDs and it could be use to some illegal activities online that is why we need some protection with these KYCs.

I am in shook. I always send my real ID's for KYC. I am afraid now hope nothing happens or no one will use my ID's for any bad act. But How do I go about the fake ID for the KYC? Any Idea?
As long as you are following the promising ico with good guys behind the project and your ID will still safe dude. Not sure about that but i guess some people are trying to fool the developer with Blank identity and then try to edit it using photoshop. It looks like the majority of people are avoiding to send their real data to the developer. But if they can't fool them and then they will send real data to the developer. You can't get any fake KYC data.

If you want to have your privacy be protected while doing KYCs you should do this, fake IDs and informations wont harm your privacy even if these people has sold your IDs in the deepweb you can still be safe because you know to yourself that your informations are still secured,do not trust anyone with your IDs because it could use into something illegally.

The KYC process became a requirement prior to receiving your token payment in a bounty campaign.  This is to know their clients but I found this process against the real purpose of cryptocurrency anonymity. Considering the fact that even the bitcoin forum do not compulsory required to put your real name, address and personal identification and looking on the aspect that we do not even know the real identity of the bitcoin creator other than its screen name.  Because of this matter, maybe this is the reason why some bitcoiners choose to create a fake IDs and identities to protect their individual privacy just to comply to the KYC method and be able to get their respective earnings.  On the other hand, there are also some bitcoiners who are obedience and just follow and reveal their true identity and give their real documents.

The gray side about this matter is there is no specific law determining what will be the consequences or punishment of passing fake identifications and what will be the benefit or protection received by those obedient bitcoiner who obeyed to put their real identification in risk. This is the matter that the KYC implementer must see and deal with because at present, KYC process do not reach their real goal of identifying their customers.
