The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

They did not have this system as far I recall. It may be it works better this way. But I would not sent anything before they respond to inquiry

Please dont waste 0,1btc for an exchange where you will get around 0,02 btc trade volume. Bittrex or Polo would be awesome....

What is HoboNickels Coin?
HoboNickels Coin is a cryptocurrency with a particularly short block time, which means that transactions can be carried out faster.

Hey Tranz, it's been a while, I had to create a new acct on here because I was not involved in crypto for a couple of years and my account got locked on here I guess from inactivity.

Anyways, I have about ~2600 HBN and I want to stake, got my wallet up to date but I have 2 wallets for coin control and I vaguely remember you giving some guidance about shuffling them into some specific size chunks for optimal staking - would you mind reminding me how to do it? Also, would I be better off to just let it all stake as one chunk the first time, given that so much time has passed / presumably I have massive "weight" ? If I move them around to create smaller chunks will that reset my weight / staking priority to 0?

Take a look at your Coin Control. You can see your weight. If you have many many blocks under 50, you will have difficulty staking. You might want to combine them.  If they are 400-600, I would let them go. Just be sure to set your combine threshold in the config or rpc command.

No more code.  No more checking every Saturday!  Just fold!

Folding @ home will now become a lot more automated for it's users and will now allow you to "mine" HBN without having to watch it.

Hi, how to set combine threshold in config?
Are you decided to left development (or I misunderstood)?

Curious about something after seeing the HBN rich list.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hbn/block.dws?5793649.htm

Look at that transaction. How does this person not have their stake split in 2?

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hbn/block.dws?5784170.htm

Looking at this transaction you see a normal split. What gives? I want the least amount of coin stacks in my coin control for better performance but any combine threshold and stake threshold gets limited to 2500 / 5000.

-------
Other thoughts. What needs to be done marketing wise or technology wise for HBN. I'd love to assist and give my spare time to the things I am good at. Do we have a common goal we're striving for? I know it's to be the coin for donations for RedCross or something but we need more short term things to strive for as a community or the volume for HBN will stay less than .1 per day.

The minimum threshold is now 2500, not the max.  I believe that's the answer to your question... I think.

Thinking about trying for YoBit.net.

Quote
To add a new coin to Yobit please you need to fill out the form below.
Payment method: YobiCode
Listing type:
• Free - 0.00 btc - no guarantee
• Premium - 0.1 btc - 4-7 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)
• Exclusive - 0.5 btc - 2-3 business days (no guarantee in case of compilation issues)
Please register and create Yobicode here.

I figured worth it for .1 BTC to try?  What do we think?

Plan would be to put up 25k from the HBN Fund wallet at 215 sats. Which would be about .053 ( I will kick in the rest, unless others want to help).  This would leave 57k in the fund.

Thoughts?   Huh Huh Smiley

I have had bad experiences with them with another coin I follow/hodl, CBX. That market has been in limbo for a while now, can't deposit or withdraw CBX due to YoBit being lazy/incompetent by never updating the wallet. So there's about 50k stuck there. I luckily never used them but they have burnt quite a few.

I am releasing some email from Facebook , which meant to go to Tranz .

Guy informed me about his project taking HBN as its foundation, I wasnt able to say anything better than cool and wished luck , he was quite dissappointed as he thought FB has been run by Tranz .. anyway this is his description of the project.

...nothing, was just hoping to get you involved in a few aspects such as the reclamation idea and such... figured someday it would be something the other coins would adopt...My focus has never been on making a coin, I started my thing back in 2009, hit a lot of stumbles and hurdles, but I saw a real good way to demo the idea using bitcoin, then I scrapped that idea and used your hobonickels... As I said, you are doing a lot of things in it I like, and that I can extend off of to do what I am talking about... Basically I have taken your current hobonickels and added an option to regenesis mine the chain, and to put it in a new subfolder... and then launch the gui with different paramters for the word hobonickels and HBN, so it becomes a new coin essentially. the point of it is , is to demonstrate individual block chains running in VR simulations that represent alternate universes where we are training AI systems, see NVIDIA ISAAC on that one... but basically in this demo I am putting together the MEQUAVIS I am building will launch any of a shit ton of different possible coins that I am going to let users regsiter and genesis mine their new sub coin. eventually I am going to link them all together using rootstock... giant machine of coins... but for now, I'm goign to set up an internal exchange to exchange a lower coin for the higher coin... If you don't care to be in the loop, that's cool, I don't need you involved perse, I have backers and am securing funding as we speak, so... But I wanted to at least keep you in the loop, bounce ideas etc, share code, as one intention I had, was to make Virtual HoboNickels, a literal fork of hobonickels in VR, so, I kinda wanted you involved with that subcoin... when I get there.... I know what I am doing though, I know I don't always explain myself well though 🙂

Point him to discord, and we can chat there..  I so rarely get on Facebook, sorry I just don't see these messages to reply.

Will it be listed on Yobit? It would not be better to try to list in other exchanges, I see several complaints regarding this exchange
