so hbn will share the fate of betarigs ?

may aswell feed the troll. I was a developer @ Betarigs. Which was owned by finalhash. whatever happened was the fault of the management there. Thats like saying the coders behind cryptsy and mtgox were at fault. I was neg trusted and theres nothing i can do about it, people have no brains. The neg trust is invalid anyway since the individual was paid

So. Yep feel free to speculate. At this rate i'll leave the development to whoever wants

Ahmed

trolling ? of course what else can it be,
it was my personal dialog with you in time of betarigs that made negative impression,
maybe you changed since then, tbh i was a student pretty dumb and irresponsible years ago.
anyway thanks for a couple of errors in betarigs that let me mine some nice coins for free  Cool
"the fate" i meant those coding issues not the management, finalhash, etc

Hello,  would like to ask where to send btc to prolong hobonickles explorer for another year . What are the conditions please?

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately HBN is a very big resource hog and really bogs down my server. I have made the unfortunate decision that I will not be allowing renewal of this coin.

Thanks,
press

Seems like we have a problem with future of explorer on Presstab. Will chat with fairglu to host on his https://chainz.cryptoid.info will let u know. Who is interested to support this please check your btc balance and think how much u can support .
Thanks

I dont really have a  plan atm. i wasnt even planning on devving HBN. HCLives just assigned me to be the dev. I guess when i get some time i'll work on a New POS base for it. But cant give no timelines

Hi Ahmed, I remember you were the person who pulled some of the changes I proposed for the code, I have always been confused about you and Tranz having 2 separate hbn forks on github, from which I derived you are the last person who somewhat cares for this. I did not want to assign the development of hbn to you. I was rather looking for an impulse from community to perhaps find funding for you, but I am not sure if there's the will. Anyway if you have some simple generic code which could be implanted like with the database upgrade, it would be awesome!

btw guys one completely free explorer is here: https://prohashing.com/explorer/HoboNickel

Explorer - thanks for info,  but still thinks presstab and chainz gives more value. Still no reply from fairglu about the hosting on chainz Sad

I would donate any hbn effort . For example segwit impementation into it..

Hi I am indeed. Would you please share the btc adress where I can send the amount?

Will add some btc into it and share on hbn forum to collect amount so we can run for at least half a year.
Thanks a lot !

Ok! I would prefer you collect and just let me know when it's ready if that's fine with you.
There was a bit of technical rush for the last 24 hrs, so the HBN testing was delayed, but I should be able to run it tomorrow.

Hi guys I am willing to pay for a exporer on Chainz . This will cost 99$ for a year in bitcoins. Is there some interest to share these costs?

I am willing to invest into coin development, but not into expensive explorers that barely work
Also, I recommend you invest at least half of your effort into buying coins

Chanz work nice and smoothly over time.  Without such presence on web coin will be invisible completely.

coin & chain is working fine but it also gonna need a better wallet optimization

If this scam 100% interest remains, we will not find new suckers to buy/invest in any exchange.

Who the hell will gonna pay our interest?  God?

One year ago we had smart guys who opened their wallet once every 10 days to collect the interest (from the golden goose?), and then they turned it off.  The definition of greed.

The wallet IS healthy, BUT:

New code (and perhaps a fork) has to be implemented.

-  Interest to go down to 10% annually MAXIMUM.

-  A /2 or /3 haircut must be done to all of the coins/wallets.  For the last 1.5 years (at least) we are generating pure inflation, no wonder the price went down.  Better 40% of 2000 - 4000 sat than 100% of 50 sat.

Just basic economics.

IMHO.

What do you mean by haircut? That's okay to drop the interest rate, but playing with existing coins is dangerous. Although most people don't seem to care anyway.

Just the poster right above you did. But this still applies:

New code (and perhaps a fork) has to be implemented.

-  Interest to go down to 10% annually MAXIMUM.

...

Just basic economics.

Pure inflation leads into a definitely deadly downspiral, like some airplane on fire. For comparison reasons: Bitcoin

Probably fake volume. There isn't enough liquidity for movement like that without a massive price increase.

If any of the coins in circulation are touched, this coin will lose whatever credibility it has left. Inflation needs to be dealt with, not current supply.
