There is one court case against BFL and one also against Hashfast.   The point that Croppo is trying to make is that AMT is a scam.    Even after they've delivered miners to folks,  even after they are endorsed by the chip manufacturer.   Sure they are sloppy,  but Bitmine.ch is also very sloppy.

Wrong, this is not my point. Do not speak for me if I did not required that, OK?

The point is that without a legal registration AMT is posing a risk for their customers. They are not informing the customers of this risk. I am not contesting the capacity of AMT to deliver products, I am contesting their legal representation for their customers. The customers have a right to know with who they are dealing with. So if AMT is an unregistered personal business, it is fine! All they have to do is to INFORM the customer about this and put a name in the front line. Instead they have been informing the customers with vague statements about the legal nature of their business. The uninformed customers go to the Internet page and buy from a company which they think properly registered, when in reality that is not the case.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Has anyone addressed the issue about the Bulgaria IP address, and the fact that the pics were taken in Bulgaria? How is that explained?

They went to Bulgaria,  took some photos of Technobit Bitfury boards.

I was a bit worried early about whether bitmine.ch chips would be stable in 8 chip configurations.

Well it turns out that technobit has shipped their systems and it looks quite stable:

This is very good news!

Now all we need to hear now is if AMT's manufcaturer's can place them chips on the boards correctly!

Man... with all this time I am spending defending AMT... I deserve that 5% discount!!!

Simple. Where is the link for said units being sold on ebay? Are they selling their spot on the AMT delivery list or do they have the actual merchandise? Why has it taken over 3 months to give me a refund for overpayment? Why does the address he have listed for AMT and setupstarters both have no record of ever being at that address? Has anyone actually physically seen them at their address? Why are the orders that were placed back in October with the promise of delivery first week of December not fulfilled and at least giving regular updates instead AMT doesn't answer those questions, they just respond with "well you can order a machine and wait like the rest of them". These are the questions you should be asking instead of defending them when you haven't even received your machine is ridiculous. There should be not just one person that can legitimately vouch for AMT, there should be several. All I have seen is one person that has received an actual machine that have made praises about AMT and a bunch of people that haven't received their machines but are defending AMT in hopes that AMT will deliver if no one offends them. One more thing I forgot to add, those youtube videos, were uploaded from Sofia, Bulgaria. Josh is with a girl by the name of Marina Petrova. Good friends with Georgi Stoitsev (who did the video with him and claimed to be with bitmine), who is also married to Ina Ilieva and they all live in Sofia, Bulgaria, looks more and more like a scam and so far.. over 1,000 people have been scammed from the looks of things. There has been no substantial proof that AMT is a legitimate company, a very unfortunate to say but AMT deliver on your promises and I will take back everything I have said but for now, you have turned a believer into a skeptic.

What is wrong with you people? Did you read pierred's last post?

In case anybody is left interested in actual bitcoin mining, the latest news about the miner I got is: Jim (or Josh?) called me yesterday and explained the TP-Link. It turns out it's been flashed as a linux server. Nifty! No wonder I thought it was not working, AMT set it up as a completely different device than what it was originally.

I did not have time to stay on the phone and getting it setup, it's connecting to the internet but I could not get the embedded cgminer to connect to a mining pool. I need to spend some time over the week-end. In the mean time I am mining connected to my laptop with USB, which is ok for now.
Jim (or Josh?) was helpful and apologized: apparently I should have had 4 boards and not 3, he's shipping a 4th one asap. Frankly I think these guys are going as fast as they can and are working their ass off, but it's still early days. I'd rather have a miner with a few things to figure out than no miner with a great documentation. I manage an IT organization, I should be able to figure it out (here's hoping...). It also seems that when connected to fast computer, we can get 45GH/s per board, my laptop is sucky.

I started to read the forum but I don't have time for all that. Some members sure have a way to make the newbies feel welcome...
I really can't believe I have to say this, but to be fair to AMT, I am not getting 5% to post here, I ordered my miner back in October. I am just sharing my experience in the hope that it's helpful. Do what you want with it. Given the tone here, this may be my last post.

Yes, it probably is incorrect.   They also probably got the hash rate wrong too.

Cointerra got that wrong too.

Can you really not see the difference between CT not reaching its goals, and AMT misrepresenting the (public) goals from its supplier? You really think AMT made an honest mistake, when anyone who could read and do gradeschool math could spot the impossibility of their claims? Even though t was pointed out many months ago, and they silently changed the numbers from completely ridiculous to just impossible ?

Maybe CT never really expected to reach 2TH, but Ive not seen a shred of evidence for that, and all indications are they eventually will reach their goal, so that CT deliberately defrauded its customers by overpromising is an unlikely and certainly unproven hypothesis. AMT missing their promises will be deliberate and willful and demonstrably so.

BTW, what I dont get mostly is why they do that. Even the accurate Bitmine specs are pretty good, AMT's prices are very competitive and availability is quite posslbly a lot better than any other 28nm vendor. If they just told the truth and stopped acting so arrogant, clueless and dishonest I can see them sell a shitload of miners. As it is, I wouldnt come near them.

How do you know all this?

If 1,000 people have been scammed,  would I not hear more of them over here?

Has Bitmine.ch also been scammed?

Is Bitmine.ch also a scam?

What about Technobit,  are they getting chips from a scam (Bitmine.ch)?

Why would Bitmine.ch endorse AMT?

If AMT_Miners actually posted that crap about expedited shipping and discounts for 'fighting trolls' - then that is truly sad.

Every aspect of this company seems shady; from their website, updates, and especially posts in this thread. I find it ridiculous that more people aren't questioning their legitamacy.

But by all means, if you want to continue being overly optimistic and hope to get your orders in the end - feel free. A few of us here are raising concerns that are, and should be, obvious to everyone.

I don't believe AMT_Miners when he says all 3 employees login and respond here. I believe that to be an outright lie. All signs point to whomever is posting, is the same person - and I believe that person is none other than Josh Zipkin.

Not sure who in their right mind would order with them moving forward. Hopefully all of us pre-orders get what was promised to us in a timely fashion.

AMT_Miners: Prove me wrong though. Post photos of all the chips you've received or some of the 1.2TH Miners that have been built thus far.

How about pictures of all the computer cases your company has ordered, or the manufacturing line?

Can you provide us with any of that? I appreciate you telling me to "piss off" but you already have my money.

What is wrong with you people? Did you read pierred's last post?

Note that pierred has never reporting even receiving a 4th board. Let's assume he did. Can you do basic math? How many 40 GH/s boards does it take to reach 192 GH/s?

I don't know why they are making these kinds of mistakes.

If they already got two batches of coincraft chips and we know 8 coincraft chips can hit 250 GHs then they are in very good position to deliver about the same time as everyone else.

Anyway,  I expect delivery in a week or so.  Let's see.

Yes they are in fact 100% guarantee

What do you mean?
I mean that techno bit product is hashing without any issues nonstop

Yes,  exactly.  Clearly the Bitmine.ch chips are sound.   It is not like AMT is coming out from nowhere and claiming they got a 28nm chip.   We know what that chip is,  we know its delivery schedule,  so I don't know why people are still thinking that they can't deliver.
