80% of my funds are placed on the top 50 altcoins . in my opinion, they are more reliable. i will invest some quality coins in the rest, just listed. diversified investment is a good strategy. it effectively reduces risk . u better not put all your money on a few coins

I think that you should not take too many coins, because you will not keep track of them. It is better to analyze a small amount and choose the strongest coins. Personally, I do so. Cheesy Cheesy

Actually we have our own believe on the particular coin we think have a great potential in the future. As what I did I hold some of my shares in order to have a great amount of profit in the future. Also, we need to aware the possibilities on such coins which can be downfall but there is still a possibility that can be increase for the long period of time as long as the user are willing to wait patiently

I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?
Since not all altcoins would be worth investing because only some are having huge price increase for a long run, having a few but promising coins would be a better investment. In such way, an investor won't have to divide his investments into different coins, making his token holdings for few coins, bigger.

I think it will depend on what you are going to do, if you want to have a constant monthly income and be able to see your portfolio grow or decrease with enough security the best thing is to have at least something in the top 10 altcoins of coinmarketcap, now if what you want is to make quick money and bet on some currency to make you rich, it is recommended that you focus all your money on 2 currencies that you see them future but still people have not heard of them

all depends on the potential of the coins that we have, if we have many altcoin that have good potential then we will have many advantages but if we have a lot of altcoin but don't have value, I think it's useless .. have a little altcoin but all have potential then that will be better

To be practical, having many token holdings will give an investor a higher chance to earn profit since not all tokens are having a price development after being listed in exchangers, atleast, if you will have many coin, some of it has a chance to increase while others are not, which would give profit to an investor.

Too much altcoins is one of the problems of cryptocurrencies. I think a lit of projects are good but doesn't really require to create a customized cryptocurrency to excel, I think there should be more collaborations between projects so that altcoins can be used on a lot of different platforms.
Tho is different from dial because countries have millions of citizens using there currency giving them high circulation but crypto projects can only boast of hundred thousands users at most.

I personally like to hold not more than five or six cryptocurrencies in my portfolio, I think that there are currently too many altcoins with no future ahead, plus, the market itself is saturated so I prefer to stick to more mainstream and popular cryptocurrencies, in order to reduce risks, the rewards may be lower though.

Just as having so many coins has  disadvantages, so also does it have it's advantages. That not with standing, i think it enables diversity.

I would like to have only a portion of coins instead of having a whole clump of it.

I think that the diversified investment is better, and I choose some profitable coins as much as possible, so I prefer to invest more mainstream coins. This is also to better reduce the risk.

I think there must be one crypto yet that must be with standard in light of the fact that if there are alot of crypto so they will begin rivalry and subsequently clients will be additionally confounded and there is a possibility of trick too so I think just a single crypto is better then too much.

If time and investment allows them to be placed in a minimum of a dozen coins, then why not. Thus, you reduce the risk of loss and increase the chance of winning. I still have 7 promising coins, which, although they do not yet have the same value as the tops, but there is still time for their growth.

That depends on the type of altcoin you own. If the altcoin has the potential, the few are fine; but if the potential of the altcoin is low then there are many that do not make much sense.
