Watch out for this phishing scammer.. the link takes you to a bogus bitcointalk lookalike site asking for password.
You link is linked on the topic. What thread I should read? What I need to care about using TAG coin? Do I loose coins, get virus, or what? Are you the real troll?

Hey also when you say trading in 9 currencies, does that mean you will be allowing GBP to GBP deposits from GBP accounts without exchange rate fees (just $15 equivalent transfer fee)?

OK.. Blatant plug time Tagmining.com has just found it's 5th block in under 3 days. Not bad considering there is only myself and the pool owner there and we can't even muster 3 mh/s between us. With the block bonuses and 0% fees, I'm earning double what I would anywhere else. Check the thread about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324938

@btbrae - that is correct - you can deposit GBP into the bank account here - we get charged by the bank $10, and we charge $5 for admin, so total $15 to deposit. For sending we get charged $20 and we add $5 admin again to send it back via wire transfer IN GBP
Within Tagbond, you will be able to convert from one currency to another, we use xe.com rates, but we charge 2%..a little less than Paypal but if you need to, you can do that. We have not enabled that just yet, will do that after all the accounts are up and running.. But if you want to keep everything in GBP, not a problem...just sometimes there are not enough people out there buying and selling in the currency you want. You can buy and sell TAG using GBP, no trading fees. We will add a small amount for withdrawal of crypto to your own wallet, probably about 3 cents equivalent..(.1 of a TAG, 0.001 of a BTC)
Just as an aside, we won't be keeping large amounts of crypto in hot wallets, they will be sent to a cold wallet in a bank vault. For large transfers we will manually transfer from the cold wallet to the hot wallet for those requests. We are also working on deterministic receive only wallets, tied in offline signing with 2 people needed to transfer.

That's pretty awesome, I think this makes you one of very few options for UK buyers right now also, hopefully they will start to notice you're in town. Also I just noticed it would be cool if you can sort the points spent/received on TagBank maybe selecting only "coupons" or "prize draws" in some kind of drop down box etc. Right now the list is pretty long and "view more" doesn't really do it justice. Also now I see you fixed the prize draw link, I can see who won yesterday... but I don't think the winner got paid his points, I did a "Redeem all" and nothing at all happened, and I went through each member on the Live tab, clicked View and then Redeem and they got removed but the points didn't get sent to the winner (Fellow DJ).

@btbrae Yes, we are just making sure the exchange is working well with a few users so we don;t have problems further down the line, and we will start letting people know about. A member did ask if I was going to ad dmore crypto currencies but I decided against that for now...it will dilute the use of TAG on the one hand, but it will bring extra users to Tagbond... longer term I may add support via Tagbond but not deal with the hassles of handling them all on the trading exchange. Cryptsy does that really well. We will see, it is early days at the moment.
Have to think how best to give more reporting on the Points...we were waiting to see what people wanted...:-) - we will probably add sorting by notes. That way, as long as the note is the same, you can show just those Points connected with it. Looking at your activity, it gives us a real idea of what we need to do there.
@sidhujag you know that we are getting well know when people start using our name for phishing...

Just another idea but you could actually group them into subgroups and then into individual Tagverts as well, for example I might want to see that 30 members have redeemed a coupon (in order to see the uptake and points spent on that coupon), but not necessarily see the list of members redeeming that coupon and the time it takes to scroll them. The points spent/received tallies are probably something you could add to the coupon details in the tagvert section too, looks like the statistics need fleshing out on that page. Also enter either a date range or a day navigator. So something like Spent < 10 November ---------------------------------------12 November > 11 November --------------- | COUPONS | --------------- MYCOUPONNAME 30 members 120 points (+ Expand) ------------------- | PRIZE DRAWS | ------------------- MYPRIZEDRAW 10 members 50 points (+ Expand) TOTAL 170 points Also I could use a tally of points held by members somewhere to know what my exposure is in TAGs if I issue a redeeming coupon (need to place enough in bank).

@btbrae - Thanks for the ideas, we will get around to that after finishing off the major parts, one of which is the API and App store. The API will allow you to do whatever you want with the data yourself, but we will create some reporting - we just don;t want to make it too hefty within that section...in fact we may have a kind of admin module created seperately to build your own reports and templates..
In terms of how much you have to redeem, it is built into the right side of cash and crypto already...we called it promised or blocked funds. If you have promised to pay out, in whichever way, and the tagvert has not been redeemed then that money is blocked from using it untill the tagvert is expired or redeemed for each member...

Right but I haven't actually promised anything yet, I've just been awarding points so the system can't understand or predict what I intend to redeem them for. I might decide this week to award 1 TAG for 1 point and next week decide to award 5 TAGs for 1 point (via coupons) but nothing is telling me whether I can afford to do that or what I need to deposit in TAGs to be able to do that. (Before I create a promise)

Say you create a tagvert and promise 5 TAG every time someone redeems it, as a reward. If you have 50 TAG in the account, the moment the last tagvert is taken, the tagvert will be disabled and cannot be seem or taken. Same for when you give a referral fee. The system will not let you give more than you have.
If you use points you are right, but then if you promise to pay something in exchange for points, then you risk the enmity of the users. We have no control over that...but we would take action if we find promises are given that are not being kept. Most users know that points will not mean anything but actual cash or crypto means a lot more and we control it a bit more.

That is not me that is running the community, it is one of our members - The owner of that community will be giving TAG as he has promised -
The exchange is running at trade.tagbond.com
Unverified means you have not verified your account with Government ID, but it is not needed for general use in the system, only for certain communities that need it, and also for depositing or withdrawing funds
