@mobGod - Well, yes, kind of...Smiley..but the verification system is part of TAG anyway.. the system is used s a membership platform, for entry access etc, so if a company wants to use it that way, people are already pre verified by us to a certain extent...
As for the exchange, it is in beta at the moment, if anyone wants to see it while we test it, then PM me..Smiley.. we need to iron out a a few things.. we are using the bter licensed  exchange engine so it looks pretty much the same as theirs, but with 9 Fiat currencies and 2 cryptos (BTC and TAG).

+1 for not reinventing the wheel on the exchange.

My business is not the exchange, but I do need to let customers in the future buy BTC and TAG easily for their business interests in Tagbond, and let TAG find it's price - hopefully TAG stays at a stable price, whatever that may be...but i guess part of the fun of getting awards is that they could go up in value.. just need to make sure TAG stays fluid as it comes on the market. Of course if the exchange does do more than that, I guess that would be a bonus, but I am not looking to compete with Mt Gox, BTCe or any others..

The exchange won't have any fees to trade, following the chinese model. Just $15 to deposit and $25 to withdraw Fiat currency, nothing to deposit and withdraw crypto. We are going to add CNY to the exchange, via Alipay / Tenpay so that opens up the market in China for TAG - that should prove interesting..

for now TAG is traded against BTC, so if it stays the same around .0015 BTC, the price rises if converted to $ as BTC rises...

Our goal within a year is to get to at least $30m USD in market cap, which means the price of the coin needs to be around $10, which makes it easy to pricing things in millitags - then a millitag would be a nice round 1 cent, which is what I wanted when creating a rewards currency earlier in the year..Wink

One of the methods to get to that will be to integrate our TAG/BTC priced tagverts into wallets - this will make it easy for someone to see what they can buy with their currency, and also see the rewards attached to any deal, as well as any referral fees attached to that tagvert that they might earn for sharing it on facebook etc. The merchant fee we charge to feature goods and services for sale via tagbond is 1%, and merchants will have a choice to keep their crypto in their account or put it up for immediate sale on the exchange at market value for the currency of their choice.

Now, anyone can create this if they want combining the open source code for wallets and our open API - and any app that is created can make 80% of the referral fees that advertisers give (Tagbond keeps 20%), which is similar to the google adsense model.. It would be a good idea for any developers to get on board early if they want to offer a product like this...we will build our own but there is room for lots of apps...

Hi - I've verified my Mobile Phone (Gotta Love the Optus network for it's five min delay Shocked ) - still no email verification.  Was reading earlier about depositing min 10 TAG - can't seem to work out how to do that (I can see the 1 TAG that was put in earlier - many thanks) do I have to generate a TAG Wallet like how CoinEX.PW does on their exchange to then send the coins to?

Thanks,

edit: if the email just keeps hanging , I'll try another one tomorrow

send an email to me (mark@tagbond.com) with your ID and I will verify it for you

Deposits will be made via the exchange server, which is still in beta, and that module has not been activated yet, but I can send you by return the beta address to play with and comment on...still tweaking it and making sure it is all working...

I may reduce that to 1 TAG min, as there are no trading fees once you in the system.. once into the system , you can use the mobile TagBank wallet to transfer to anyone else or buy stuff with it via tagbond or anywhere that is using Tagbond (for BTC or TAG), or transfer to your own wallet app.

Yes, need to add tag/usd so communities can buy using normal currency that they can then give out as rewards (also the other currencies as well)..not everyone has BTC to spend..Smiley

Withdraw tag to usd account is +++,
but best part of tag/fiats is, many other altcoins are bonded 100% with btc, but tag will be free of that bond and get a real own rate (tag/all fiats, tag/btc = tag).
This will make short time invest very interesting.

Come on people!  tagmining.com is offering 20TAG for the first block found!  That's over a days mining reward to a mug punter like me... My lousy 1.4 m/hs has me near the top of the tree there.  If you don't get in I'll (eventually) clean up  Grin

Well timing was perfect when I created the pool. I had luck, however when hashrate spiked to 1200 MH and stratum crashed, some miners left. The problem was solved after 2 hours (when I woke up) and some of the miners came back. Pool seems stable in the past days, but if anything happens again, miners go away. This is how this business works. Smiley You have to respond immediately and be there 100%, sometimes its very exhausting, especially when you run a pool for a coin NOT like TAG. TAG is stable and has good support. Not many coins has that...

Have a nice day everyone!

This business is interesting.

Your team page is impressive. http://tagbond.com/site/about

It's really nice to see real entrepreneurs in this space and wish you the best.

I can't help but feel some of the jargon is an obstacle you need to overcome to explain the whole concept better, maybe with some really simple diagrams or flash snippets or something. TagVert, TagBond, TagBand, NFC, RFID, QR Code, Universal ID, it's a lot to digest at first and it seems a lot to throw at somebody who might simply be looking into how you can help their business with coupons for example. I haven't actually logged in or tried it yet, this is just from reading the pages on tagbond.com, and I am kinda tired atm so apologies if I'm alone on this.

Actually what is interesting is that Mark has/is creating a market where crypto currency can be used and THEN created a coin to service it.  This in itself makes TAG pretty much unique.  Every other coin, including Bitcoin, has been created first and then they have tried to chase a viable market to use it in. It's like "shit... if no one can use this coin outside of exchanging it for USD, we are screwed", which is the position 99% of the alt coins are/will be in.

BTC has landed on it's feet as it (now) has markets that will accept it.  More luck than anything else..  It also has become a defacto currency in a lot of 3rd world countries where their reserve fiat sucks (I'm looking at you Mugabe) BTC hit record highs today less than a month after Silk Road got closed down, which is pretty impressive.  So much for just being THE SR coin.  Yes, I know, I'm rambling  Grin

My point is that TAG shows real potential because there will be a real world demand for the coin from nearly the start.  I have no problems with the coin originating in the Philippines but that market alone wont sustain it.  It needs to be known as a global trading platform which I'm sure Mark is ramping up to.  As for an earlier post that Mark hoped that in 12 months 1 TAG = 10 USD.  Hope you're right mate  Grin

BTW Mark.  My brother owns a place in the Philippines and spends about 3 months a year there.  He nearly married a local girl until he discovered that Danielle used to be Daniel!
