BTW Mark.  My brother owns a place in the Philippines and spends about 3 months a year there.  He nearly married a local girl until he discovered that Danielle used to be Daniel!

No shit. True story.  He actually brought "her" out to Australia for a visit.  Introduced her to me and my sister.  I didn't quite twig to the fact but to me she didn't quite "look" right.  My sister picked "her" in a heart beat.  Hands and hips.  Hands too big, hips too small.  Those Filipino surgeons are good, can remove an adams apple, do all sorts of alterations down in the fun bits but they can't to anything about your hands and hips!

@btbrae - You are right about4t he jargon, and we have cut down on a lot of it..still in the process of simplifying everything...thre is a lot under the hood that does not really need to be there, and be brought for power users or when there is a need. It's a bad habit of mine to explain everything when it's not totally needed. We are getting there tho.

@johndec - I don't think the filipino surgeons are as good as the Thai ones...most people here go over to BKK where it is cheaper and better. As for hips, yes they be changed with silicone padding...but hands?..nope..that's a little beyond the tech right now..lol. After 4 years in Thailand and Philippines I have pretty much seen everything...Smiley

I think it's quite good. It makes the use of the Tagvert part of the Tagbond website quite clear in my opinion. I think you'll have to upload new one later when the exchange is ready and include that part of your website in that video. I'm wondering how many referallinks there will be posted on that video in a couple of weeks..  Grin

I think we can make the videos more professional sounding later, but we change the interface and methods for different parts of the site as we grow and respond to comments so we have to knock out the tutorials quickly...

Using videos like this we can explain the concepts much faster...we have a few mobile apps in development that can use them as well..

Local or BKK, whatever.. She was a L O L A - Lola.  As an ex Pom of about my vintage, I'm sure you're aware of the Kinks song  Smiley  Funny how my throwaway line at the end of my post has garnered all the attention.  I was hoping for some more serious comment on the bulk of my post that focused on the the fact that TAG was a coin created with a ready made market/usefulness.

LOl..you should know that stuff like that always gets more attention than the serious issues..

As for the Philippines this is a good place to experiment and learn what works and does not. With 100m population (10m of who are abroad and earning money that is sent back every month), some of the biggest malls in the world and the shopping that goes with it, and electronic money and rewards systems in place..we don;t have to explain too much to people. We are not totally re inventing the wheel, we are just improving it a little. Hopefully the things we learn here we can use for the rest of the world, especially the developing world...

Fee is now lowered to 1% on http://tag.cryptominer.net/ Smiley

As I dont have mining rigs anymore, any donations would be appreciated. Thanks, and happy mining! Grin

Yeah, well Tagmining.com has free cake for it's miners.  Ok, ok... the cake is a lie.  How do I compete? lol...

I'll buy half your pool's hash power in exchange for my first born child.  Let me just clear it with the wife first.

Grin

Well timing was perfect when I created the pool. I had luck, however when hashrate spiked to 1200 MH and stratum crashed, some miners left. The problem was solved after 2 hours (when I woke up) and some of the miners came back. Pool seems stable in the past days, but if anything happens again, miners go away. This is how this business works. Smiley You have to respond immediately and be there 100%, sometimes its very exhausting, especially when you run a pool for a coin NOT like TAG. TAG is stable and has good support. Not many coins has that...

Have a nice day everyone!

Totally agree with you, running pools is a full time job if you want your miners to be happy.

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

Come on people!  tagmining.com is offering 20TAG for the first block found!  That's over a days mining reward to a mug punter like me... My lousy 1.4 m/hs has me near the top of the tree there.  If you don't get in I'll (eventually) clean up  Grin

Thanks for the support, Johndec.  The 20TAG reward for first block is still up for grabs, if anyone is interested.

*Torzy, I hear ya, mate.  I started a LTC mining pool way too late, and ended up shutting down for lack of support.  TBH, I'd rather run a pool than miners, although it's getting cold here now, and my puny little rig is keeping the front of my house above freezing at night  Smiley.

*Tagbond, kudos on the video.  It was simple and concise. +1, mate.

Is it necessary to build a new coin for rewards? So is it necessary to build a new coin for coffee, another one for bread, another one for lunch?

Besides, I can't find anything new/innovative in tagbond, just the invented Scrypt PoW and PoS.

If you don't believe that TAG is doing something different, then why did you post your TAG ID in this thread to get your free TAG coins?

I think technically there is no point for any altcoins. Bitcoin is good enaf for all services.
But you don't think the market way.
If tagbond are just a one bitcoin service, this service have no personal image.
Why cocacola, adidas... sell, it is all about brand image.
I think i's stupid, but market act like that.
So why not make own coin just for rewards?

TAG is good shot. I really hope you can get it popular.

The fact that TAGcoin is aiming on that target, makes it different from other altcoins. Sure, no one knows whether TAGcoin will 100% succeed in the aimed targets, but I think it has potential. Most of the altcoins today even aren't slightly differend from each other.. They're doomed to fail.
