Is 4% yearly interest still being paid? I don't see anything on their website about that.
If they paid still it cant be a good profit 4% yearly is too poor interest comparing with others it is better investing on good altcoin which may give a lot of profit.

Compared to what others? An altcoin may give profit but it may make a huge loss compared to Bitcoin. You can't make a comparison between a fixed interest investment and taking a currency risk.

Maybe 4% interest doesn't looks very high, but even banks in my country aren't offering anything even close to 4%.
@Bitcoinsummoner, can you offer something better than Freebitco.in gives? Investing in altcoins or ICO's doesn't sounds like alternative because it's just too risky and doesn't gives guaranteed returns.
What else do we have? Money lending? Investment in casino bankroll? Well, all these investment have different levels of risk and there are no guarantees that you will get profit.

Investing in freebitcoin is like invest in an bankroll . But its good to invest in casinos with 5 % house edge Wink
And yes lending is another great investment Option without high risks iam doing this currently on bitfinex.

Hello all,

Can someone help me understand how exactly the "Betting on events" functions work?

The "time weight multiplier" is particularly confusing to me in how it relates to the bet amount and the outcome odds. Is there a formula for estimating how much you're going to win given the bet amount, odds and time weight multiplier?

For example, I bet 50 satoshi recently and the final odds were 1.51; also, when I made the bet the time multiplier was at ~25%. I got paid 72 satoshi but don't understand where that figure came from. Shouldn't it have been at least 75? Does the time multiplier subtract somehow from the (odds * bet amount) total?

About 25% is what you indicated, But odds are you just submitted a little later then your page's time stamps while you where crunching numbers so statistics where off a few % but thats just a guess.
My question is why did you go through so much trouble over 3 Satoshi? (regarding making a new account just to post here)

I think you misunderstood; the 25% was the time multiplier, and the odds were 1.51, so 50 * 1.51 ~= 75. What I don't understand is precisely what role this time multiplier plays in the calculation.

This 50 satoshi bet was just a test to try to understand how it worked, and since I couldn't figure it out I tried to google it and this was almost the only place in which there were mentions to this "betting on events" system, so I created an account and asked... if you know of any other place where you think I'm more likely to find answers let me know!

That's great news. It was annoying to use an intermediary wallet to transfer to Wasabi.

Compared with altcoin for crypto and for fiat bank or mutual fund etc. Altcoin price always go down comparing with bitcoin? It cant be. Altcoin may go down on the same way it can go up. Just need to take proper entry.

Yeah, that's the point. You're taking a currency risk, it may go up or it may go down. You can't compare that to getting a fixed interest return because they are completely different things.

Is there any 2FA issue with the site at the moment? I keep getting "incorrect code", even though I just turned off (luckily was logged in on my phone) and tried to turn on again.
