GIMME CHEAP TEK!

No shit! I was gonna buy a bunch this weekend :p Still will, once I get my piggyback mining payout. But damn! Ah well, be a good deal once I get my pile and get it staking...

Which could be why the volume is up. With a bit over a million coins now in circulation, there has to be some good staking going on.

Vote for inclusion on allcoin.com. Very reliable, I never had a single issue with them.

~PRICE IS CORRECTING!

CHEAP TEK IS BACK! Cheesy

Fixed that for ya! I'd buy cheap, but only fractions were available cheap. Pumped it a little to get all I could. As far as I'm concerned, TEK is gold.

Hello,

I am the author of this wiki http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=a_massive_investigation_of_instamines_and_fastmines_for_the_top_alt_coins

Tekcoin flew under my radar as I was focusing on the rising alts (mostly scams) and the top ranked alts. Lately I've been getting into the 6 figure market cap list.

I was so impressed with its scam free features that I bought $30 bucks worth. (No other coin has done that while I was writing this wiki.) I'm no trader so my action won't effect the market much. I don't care either because I want support the people I think are doing good things. But my words will probably affect it more.

I have no interest in being a cheeleader for any coins except Devcoin, so this is probably the extent of the hoorah! that I will give, but I want to extend my congratulations to those who created this coin in the midst of hundreds of other devs who created their coins to make a buck. You all clearly put your focus first on creating a coin with principles and I value that.

Integrity will be crucial in the future economy that we are creating. You have contributed to that integrity, imo, with the future of cryptocurrency.

Good luck with your project.

I second that as well. Rich List has not updated in almost 24 hours. Restart the server or scripts because it is not updating.

I'm trying to configure abe but am unable to read the block chain. If someone could help me with this ... :-(

I unfortunately don't know jack about abe.

But a while back you had asked if I got NOMP working with MPOS for Tek. I have, if you still need help. If not, cool.

Pretty much followed the docs. However, if you try to take the shortcut with NOMP (how to setup NOMP for MPOS) in the Wiki, it leaves out some steps. You have to go to the readme on the main source page, follow that EXACTLY, then follow the doc for the MPOS integration. Once you have your .json files edited, run "screen node init.js", then detach from the screen <ctrl-a> <d>.  Tek is actually preconfigured in NOMP, so you really only have to modify the file in pool_configs (copy litecoin_example.json to tekcoin.json for this instance). Edit it to match your MPOS setup, and it should be good to go.

Since doing that, I've had no issues with NOMP as a stratum layer. MPOS has given me some trouble, but I got that mostly figured out. 90 percent fat fingers and ten percent cryptic documentation Tongue

PM me if you have troubles. I bashed at it for quite a while before I got it all working.

This is huge. Devtome speaking highly of TEKcoin means something. Plus, it will definitely do much good to TEKcoin (not that it needs any Smiley.  Devtome is a reputable website. I am glad  that the "no block halving decision" pleases devtome. I am fed up with all these "reward early adopters" coins.

TEKcoin will move places.

For those of you who, like me, have PHS and CAP and TEK and HBN, I suggest the following:
Vote for the highest ranking of them and this one only. Once it will be on the market, then we can get rid of cryptsy for this one (I still have PHS and CAP locked at Cryptsy).. Then focus all your votes on the next one.

That way, deliveries will happen faster.

Well everything seemed to work, only no block could be found :-( And as tekcoin doesn't has a testnet, I was tired of putting money in renting a rig to be able to test the solution :-(
