Hey guys, I have been using this faucet for a month, but have been only getting rolls of 0 9885 of 0.00000021 BTC. Anyone rolled above that? Or they've tweaked something? i have experience hit the number more than those amount of rolls but it was happened only several times and i think the percentages to get rolls more than 9885 is less than 10% and that's why only several people had experience hitting those number Nothing has been tweaked and you can work out the probability of hitting each prize level from the numbers displayed. So level 2 is 9886 9985 giving 99 chances in 10,000 possible results. It's all provably fair and just pure luck if it comes in. The top prize of $200 is a little harder to get as numbers are rounded you need to roll above 9999.5 to win so it's a 20,000:1 chance. I have been playing a long time and had many rolls in the 1st 3 levels but none higher, that is statistically quite normal.

newer win lottery ( i have last round 35000 ticket That a lot amount of tickets, maybe next time you will win it 35k tickets is not that much if you see the total tickets for the round which is more than 460 million tickets. Of course it is pure luck game, you may win with 1 ticket only or you may not win with millions tickets. Just keep on trying and wait for our luck, this is the only way we can do on lottery game.

I don’t see your point. There are 10001 possible outcomes and the highest one is just one of them so, in my view, chances are 10,001:1. I don’t understand what you say about rounding numbers, they are integer, whole numbers, not fractions. I’ve played over 2600 free rolls and I won one third price once (9994 – 9997), some fourths (9986 – 9993) and quite a few fifths (9886 – 9985), one of them today. I play this faucet and brother site freedoge.co.in and, on average, every week I get a price (number above 9886).

they are integer, whole numbers, not fractions.
This is why you don't understand. They are displayed as whole numbers but are calculated from decimals. From the provably fair information on the site: How are rolls calculated?
1 Two strings are created : STRING1 = "[NONCE]:[SERVER SEED]:[NONCE]" STRING2 = "[NONCE]:[CLIENT SEED]:[NONCE]" For your last roll : STRING1 = "187642:dd2d1349d29ccb2b154633ffe1083fab798480781a2ae5f85d302e21731aad22:187642" STRING2 = "187642:vXqTuIUiZsRsIqSW:187642" 2 Then HMACSHA512 is used to hash STRING1 with STRING2 as the secret key, giving us a 128 character hex string. 3 The first 8 characters of the hex string are taken and converted to a decimal. 4 This decimal is then divided by 429496.7295 and rounded off to the nearest whole number. 5 This whole number is used as your roll, with the maximum possible value being 10,000.
The part I bolded explains where the decimal is introduced and that in turn when rounding up will reduce the chance to 20,000:1. Over in the thread on the Micro Earnings board, someone kindly wrote a little C++ program to work it out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg25099985#msg25099985

I knew that freebitco.in had a provably fair system, as well as many other sites but I don’t know anything about it. I guess I’ll have to learn. However, provably fair seems deceiving to me in this way because, yes, it is proved to be fair, but you have less likelihood of winning than the actual whole number shown represent. From what you said before: Nothing has been tweaked and you can work out the probability of hitting each prize level from the numbers displayed. So level 2 is 9886 9985 giving 99 chances in 10,000 possible results.
I take it that all numbers would have 1 in 10.001 chances of appearing, apart from number 10.000 which would have 0,5 in 10.001 chances, and, I guess, number 0 which would have 1,5 in 10.001. Regards.

Regards. No, 0 number will have only 1:20000 chances to appear, as well as 10000. A number n with decimals is calculated with the two strings and the method explained on the website. Range is [0,10000], 0 will be drawn if 0<= n < 0,5 that's 1/20000 of the whole [0,10000] segment. The same for 10000 that will be drawn if 9999,5 < n <= 10000 here too, 1/20000 of the whole segment. Every other number p has a 1:10000 chance to be drawn, as [p0,5, p+0,5] is 1/10000 of the whole range.

That is nothing to do with provably fair, it is just the way the site has chosen to display the data. Dice games on many casinos display the entire number. For example, one site shows it's max payout as roll over 99.989 or roll under 0.010. Freebitco.in just rounds the numbers up for display, maybe you could say it is a little misleading but I cut them some slack on the grounds that 1) It is free to play 2) The information is there if you read it, they never lied and said it was 10,000:1 you (and many others) just assumed it. I take it that all numbers would have 1 in 10.001 chances of appearing, apart from number 10.000 which would have 0,5 in 10.001 chances, and, I guess, number 0 which would have 1,5 in 10.001.
Wow, that confused me for a moment getting used to the European "," and "." swap. I guess it works the other way for you as well. First part is correct as all numbers from 1 to 9,999 round up and down. I'm not sure where you are getting 1.5:10,000 for zero. It is the same chance as 10,000 as it has to round down from less than 0.5 so it's 20,000:1.

Thanks again for the explanation. I totally agree with you on this point. It is a great site and as it is free to play, so we can’t complain much. Wow, that confused me for a moment getting used to the European "," and "." swap. I guess it works the other way for you as well.
Lol! Yes, I realized before that you were writing the opposite way. I wrote like you in my former reply. First part is correct as all numbers from 1 to 9,999 round up and down. I'm not sure where you are getting 1.5:10,000 for zero. It is the same chance as 10,000 as it has to round down from less than 0.5 so it's 20,000:1.
Ok. I’ve just realized where I got confused: There are 10,001 numbers in the free bitcoin game: numbers 1 to 10,000 add up 10,000 and number 0. Total 10,001. If they were just whole numbers, each one would have 1 to 10,001 chances of appearing. But with this system chances are 1 to 10,000 for each number apart from two. As one of them has 0.5 to 10,000 chances of appearing I thought that the other one would have 1.5 to 10,000. But no, all have 1 to 10,000 chances apart from those two (0 and 10,000) which, added up (the two of them) have also a 1 to 10,000 chance.

Provably fair or not we do still end up on losing our money on any gambling games but speaking with legitimacy i would say Freebitco.in is legit although we do always lose but atleast it is fair not rigged. This site is already operating for quiet no. of years now and i do just love on this one is the free ticket on hitting the lottery but i dont expect too much.

I dont know why it says invalid image, but here is the imgur link: https://imgur.com/a/ZunCSI know what you're saying, but common! It looks like some bot stepped in and decided to make me lose everything! As in the screenshot, I had 6 wins in the past 20 rolls with supposedly 47.50% Win chance. But 6/20 is actually 30% not 47.50%. Is the 47.50% based on rolls since the creation of the account, or since the login session? Is there any way to reset the win/loss? I mean to start calculating the win chance from a new point rather than from the creation of the account.

hroub I know the feeling to lose all money on freebitco.in .. I was playing HILO and I earned 250k daily easy few days, then one day I playing 3 hours and earned 750k. I was so happy then.. So I decide to withdraw almost whole balance.. Thank God I did that, because next day I lose whole balance , you know why? I got 21 (if I good remember) time in row LOW ... I was so sad and angry, so I decide not to playing HILO game anymore. You will always lose, no matter how much you have on balance.. If I had 1 BTC on balance I will lose all, because they must have some profit. If people don't play HILO game ,freebitco.in will be already closed. They living from money we lose on HILO.

It showed a 6 rolls losing streak. It's nothing and normal and does not mean not provably fair provably fair means you can proof the fairness of the roll using certain verifier or by doing your own calculation using the provided method and unaltered server & local seed given before the roll I experienced a lot worse and a lot more times than you, once was a 20 rolls lose streak
