Friends, some of you have noticed the mining option available in your account. This feature is currently in beta testing. We've deployed it to a select number of random accounts. Once we're confident it's working properly and providing value we'll release it to the entire community. We don't know yet how long this will take. I'll be offering more updates as we proceeed. In the meantime, for those of you that have been selected as a bet a tester, feel free to share your thoughts with me (the good and the bad) - please PM me. Thanks!
Myfe, could you suggest the afiliate earnings you would get rom what you have done with your referral link, i'd be very interested to see what the potential of merely sharing it here would do?
I get a 25% bump in earnings per week through my referrals. It's not a killing but noticeable. The trick is to share your referral code with everyone you encounter. When you offer people the link to FreeBitco.in, make it your referral link...every time! how is the mining works ?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

What mining option are you talking about, guys? I have no such option in my account, but I think I got it, it's in testing mode in some accounts. But what is it? Can some one who have it post a screenshot maybe? Is freebitco.in starting cloud mining or is it something else?
Sure it looks like this: They haven't really said what it is yet. Use your browser to passively mine bitcoin and receive mining rewards instantly to your FreeBitco.in account, credited every 5 minutes. Please note that this feature is currently experimental and is only available to a limited number of users. Once it is rolled out across the website, we shall be able to increase the mining rewards further. Click on START MINING and then adjust the number of threads and CPU percentage to use for mining. Usually the higher the number of threads and CPU capacity that you use, the greater your mining rewards will be. The default is to start with as many threads as the number of CPU cores that your device has and 100% CPU usage. Lower the CPU usage when you are using the device for something else and increase it to 100% when your device is idle. Mining will stop when the STOP MINING button is clicked or this browser tab is closed. You can use your account to mine from multiple devices at the same time. Mining rewards are automatically credited to your account for every satoshi that you earn and the TOTAL MINING INCOME in this page shows the total rewards that you have received from mining since the beginning. Thanks for posting! Looks interesting. Why my account wasn't chosen? What are threads? And how many satoshis do you mine per day? So, it looks like it's not a cloud mining. They propose you to mine using your power. Am I right? I think you can mine several cents worth of BTC per day this way, but I may be wrong. It's interesting to see the actual data.

CPU threads for multicore processors. So, it looks like it's not a cloud mining. They propose you to mine using your power. Am I right?
Correct, I'm guessing we're mining XMR which is then traded for BTC. Not sure if they set up their own pool or are using another. I think you can mine several cents worth of BTC per day this way, but I may be wrong. It's interesting to see the actual data.
It really depends on what hardware you have. I'm using a 4-year-old i5 so I'm not getting much but if it's a relatively new and efficient processor you should make more.

Now while mining you do need to refresh your page when time out. Mining? Never heard of mining with freebitco.in in this long time I have been visiting them. Perhaps you are using mining term wrongly. It's because it is experimental and open only for some users. With freebitco.in you can now mine btc with your computer/device cpu. Hash rate is low of course (5 to 15 H/s personally), depending on the cpu you have. It gives a few satoshis. And you can run it on several computers at the same time. Wow. That is something. Is it the PoS just like burst mining?

I'm not sure but I think they are using cpu with monero mining I seen it yesterday as I become curios about the news of piratebay and reading around the forum someone shared that freebit also trying some experimental mining but I didn't tried it yet I got an old lappy so I don't want to ruin my system.

Just tried it for testing on my mobile device... 6 to 7 H/s 6 Threads, 70% CPU usage 5000 Hashes solved but not a single Satoshi Still a nice new Feature. Freebitco.in will always remain the best faucet for me!

The new mining via browser feature is really great It's taking long to get some satoshis, but it's running in background I hope there will be more nice features in future for us. I love FreeBitcoin really and I'm using it every day Do you plan to extend the statistics tab with mining stats?

Freebitco.in will always remain the best faucet for me! you probably need to visit the mining tab again to reflect your mining earnings, i tried to mine with my normal CPU and got less than 5000 hashes solved and shows 0 earnings but when i refreshed after 5 mins it shows i earned 2satoshis

It would be a great way to contact the staff directlly but far from that don't see another interest, to talk about Bitcoin we already have Bitcointalk

I think wetsuit should also get on with disk space renting, make it easier for users to just open a browser tab and rent their hard drive space just like cpu mining. using maybe sia or storj, possible?

not need if you asked me. why? because only few users now are using a faucet site even them as the top1 i think and what else to discuss? isn't this thread not enough for discussion about the site? if the forum you are asking is made, what topic do you expect those users to discuss about the site?
