I don't know how the temperature is and I don't have any electricity costs I run 2 VM's @ Azure (1x 16 Core, 1x 4Core) within trial period My suggestion is to look for other coins to mine instead of using freebitco.in. Try mining monero with a pool and see if you get anything extra. As you may as well if you're on a trail period with azure (also look for other low difficulty coins or altcoins that are ust about to be published on the internet to see if there's anything better you can earn). Possible to mine Monero with a Core i3 or is this CPU too low? Thank you for this tip, which Monero mining app do you prefer ?

The best thing to do is try to run it with freebitco.in? Do you have any GPUs that you can use on that device (there might be one installed you don't know of, it'll be low power but might hold something). Also, what's your HDD space, you could look at Burst or StorJ which mine using hard drive capacity instead.

What about your electrical charges for the two days? For me, it is not worth to earn so small amount by running two days. As you said in some countries where electrical charges are very low and don't know other methods to earn money then it is good option to try for some time otherwise it is not worth.

Wow, that is really a very low amount of satoshis for two days income! I think even the electricity is "free" or cheap it doesn't pay the loss on durability of the machine being used. Anyway, the computer isn't mine, so you do anything you want with it... I will keep watching if other people have more profit by using the mining feature.

Thank you for your tips reg. Burst or StorJ. I have a NAS with some space

Hi since yesterday I saw this option of Bitcoin mining on freebitco.in is this legit? Is the site safe and not in a risk? Going for the long term, cause it's my favorite site and I feel it would always be there, but then why are they allowing mining. I have never done mining before, so I use my laptop and mobile what are the risk associated with it. Also are there any rewards for mining on the site, I mean is it really profitable that I spend time doing this. Kindly let me know.

The site is still a legit site, but do you think mining with your browser/cpu is profitable? I dont think so, it will only make your PC overheated imho but you will only earn so small amount. I'm not sure if others agree with my opinion, but I have read some people share their experiences with this new mining feature which is not worth.

I has a long time roll in freebitco.in at first so easy but now sometime my ip has been blocked or my refferal cant join under my link but overall is good and still legit
I think the site is very good for the bitcoin network as it helps us to have more people coming and try bitcoin. The site came out not to earn money, but to help new people to get to know bitcoin and to have a kind of interaction with bitcoin as this site can be categorized as a faucet then a betting site as you are not spending any money from your pocket in order to play the roulette in the site.

CPU mining isn't profitable, GPU mining is(especially if you have lots of GPUs lol). it's easy to use browser mining feature on freebitcoin, you can get started in few clicks. good for those who don't have any technical knowledge and wants to get something out of their computing power. one can always use only 2 cores to mine with, PC won't get overheated that way.

Until now I can't recover my account on freebitco.in, my IP address has been blocked on claiming satoshis for a long time I think it was because I used a VPN services. Anybody here can help me to fix this or anyone who is moderating this thread, any devs or teams connected to the site?

Indeed using VPN especially the free ones will result in banned at freebitcoin as I believe there are many people doing the same thing as you. Even worst some people try to abuse it by having multiple accounts with free VPN that may affect other users who do not abuse the faucet. Try to contact Myfe or wetsuit, they may help your case.

I don't think most of members cannot cover electricity with this and CPU is also going burn as hell I am not going to check this option as I need my computer for some long time
Yeah, this shouldn't be profitable for people doing it with their own resources. For some reason the option seems to be gone from my topbar.

For me it is a nice extra feature, I only use 2 threads and 50%, which is acceptable and doesn't slow my computer too much. It only gives me a couple of satoshis, but it is a small bonus, so congrats to wetsuit for this new feature!

I suppose they will restore the topbar access. I've been using it last night and today, 2 threads and 100% while I was doing other stuff, I've earned 102 satoshis so far. I don't see how you only get just a couple of satoshis.

I really do know what the pull is of this tiny pc lol might not be worth it but its fun to play around. I don't think that I will see any different on my light bill, its all ready high from the 3 xmr mining rigs I run. Cost of electric is 11.25 cent per kilowatt i think here in MN.

Maybe they are doing some improvements or they may be removed it completely not sure. Anyway I was not using this option but after seeing above comments I too checked and the mining option is not shown on my account as well. Just wait for official announcement from admin.

It's gone from my topbar but there is a link in the text box below on the FREE BTC page.
