Hi Poptok,

This beta testing round of mining is for a randomly selected group of users. I suspect you haven't been randomly selected to participate yet. Don't worry, we do plan to roll this out to everyone, we just need to make sure it works properly first.

What's your user ID? And how much do you have on deposit? You can PM me if you'd prefer to keep that information private!

Hey Myfe, I would like to start this mining process but on the mining page my user id equals zero.
What does this mean? I'm not activated as a valid miner yet or did I just missed on something?
I have a captchaless account, solely as "piggy-bank", I don't gamble only free rolls, is this why
poptok1 cant in to mining  Huh
Thanks for the help.
Mining ID was enabled for me yesterday and I gave it a try.
I have used a link to mine with a mobile device and it was working OK (although slow).
It was not working with my single core laptop tho (no surprise).
Today ID is zero again, so I guess my "try period" is over.
Thanks again Myfe Smiley best support, like ever.

100%, using all 16 cores and how many hours.... umm don't know exactly, but:

244 * 60 sec = 14.640 per Minute * 60 = 878.400 per hour * 24 = 21.081.600
So litte bit more than 24 hours Smiley

My suggestion is to look for other coins to mine instead of using freebitco.in.
Try mining monero with a pool and see if you get anything extra. As you may as well if you're on a trail period with azure (also look for other low difficulty coins or altcoins that are ust about to be published on the internet to see if there's anything better you can earn).

Possible to mine Monero with a Core i3 or is this CPU too low?
Thank you for this tip, which Monero mining app do you prefer ?

You'll probably get something..
The best thing to do is try to run it with freebitco.in?

Do you have any GPUs that you can use on that device (there might be one installed you don't know of, it'll be low power but might hold something). Also, what's your HDD space, you could look at Burst or StorJ which mine using hard drive capacity instead.

What about your electrical charges for the two days? For me, it is not worth to earn so small amount by running two days.

As you said in some countries where electrical charges are very low and don't know other methods to earn money then it is good option to try for some time otherwise it is not worth.

Wow, that is really a very low amount of satoshis for two days income! I think even the electricity is "free" or cheap it doesn't pay the loss on durability of the machine being used.  Cheesy

Anyway, the computer isn't mine, so you do anything you want with it...  Smiley
I will keep watching if other people have more profit by using the mining feature.

Thank you for your tips reg. Burst or StorJ. I have a NAS with some space Smiley

Hi since yesterday I saw this option of Bitcoin mining on freebitco.in is this legit? Is the site safe and not in a risk? Going for the long term, cause it's my favorite site and I feel it would always be there, but then why are they allowing mining. I have never done mining before, so I use my laptop and mobile what are the risk associated with it. Also are there any rewards for mining on the site, I mean is it really profitable that I spend time doing this. Kindly let me know.

The site is still a legit site, but do you think mining with your browser/cpu is profitable? I dont think so, it will only make your PC overheated imho but you will only earn so small amount. I'm not sure if others agree with my opinion, but I have read some people share their experiences with this new mining feature which is not worth.

I has a long time roll in freebitco.in
at first so easy but now sometime my ip has been blocked
or my refferal cant join under my link
but overall is good and still legit

I think the site is very good for the bitcoin network as it helps us to have more people coming and try bitcoin.

The site came out not to earn money, but to help new people to get to know bitcoin and to have a kind of interaction with bitcoin as this site can be categorized as a faucet then a betting site as you are not spending any money from your pocket in order to play the roulette in the site.

CPU mining isn't profitable, GPU mining is(especially if you have lots of GPUs lol). it's easy to use browser mining feature on freebitcoin, you can get started in few clicks. good for those who don't have any technical knowledge and wants to get something out of their computing power. Wink one can always use only 2 cores to mine with, PC won't get overheated that way.

Until now I can't recover my account on freebitco.in, my IP address has been blocked on claiming satoshis for a long time I think it was because I used a VPN services. Anybody here can help me to fix this or anyone who is moderating this thread, any devs or teams connected to the site?
