I think this person must be the most luckiest winner in freebitco.in lottery draw history, this lucky winner hit the first prize jackpot with just 10 lottery tickets and won a total amount of 2.16815652 BTC, this is truly amazing as the percentage to win the lottery with just 10 tickets is extremely low, but I suppose this is how rng ( random number generator ) works, there is always a chance to snipe a big jackpot with small amount of money, I guess I will just wait for my turn to win the big prize

There is verification process added to the lottery system recently but not sure anyone verified it. But for many months I'm also trying but no luck yet. Somehow no one wants to declare that they won a big amount from this lottery system as well.

It's still in testing and hasn't been rolled out to all users yet. It wasn't there for me last night when it was reported on here but it is this morning. It looks like they're slowly adding more users in.

Click on START MINING and then adjust the number of threads and CPU percentage to use for mining. Usually the higher the number of threads and CPU capacity that you use, the greater your mining rewards will be. The default is to start with as many threads as the number of CPU cores that your device has and 100% CPU usage. Lower the CPU usage when you are using the device for something else and increase it to 100% when your device is idle.

Mining will stop when the STOP MINING button is clicked or this browser tab is closed. You can use your account to mine from multiple devices at the same time. Mining rewards are automatically credited to your account for every satoshi that you earn and the TOTAL MINING INCOME in this page shows the total rewards that you have received from mining since the beginning.

Oh my gosh you’re so lucky! I have been rolling my free bitcoins in freebit for almost a month but I never had a chance to roll such amount like yours. I just waste my free btc in playing bet hi or lo. I don’t also know if it’s a cloud mining or whatever.

It's because it is experimental and open only for some users. With freebitco.in you can now mine btc with your computer/device cpu. Hash rate is low of course (5 to 15 H/s personally), depending on the cpu you have.  It gives a few satoshis. And you can run it on several computers at the same time.

I was wondering if anybody has been able to figure out what site the mining is connecting to? I get 0 hashes when I'm connected to my work network, but 5-15 hash/s when I'm connected to any other network. I'm assuming that my work is filtering the pool that it's trying to connect to, but I'm not able to find the pool the freebitco.in mining is attempting to connect to.

EDIT: lol, I haven't posted in these forums in two and a half years and those referral codes in my signature still work! I guess it shows that this faucet has been one of the few stable things in Bitcoin.

I'm not sure but I know Wetsuit is big into mining so I wouldn't put it past him to have set up his own pool. Also, it's quite possible depending on what type of firewall your office is using that they are filtering traffic type. I haven't been involved in that stuff since 2005ish but we were using proxy firewalls that could filter on data content however it was tunneled even back then.

I'm just curious so that I can figure out a way to get it working at work I had hoped that since it was in a browser instead of a program on my computer that can be scanned for would make it work, but it looks like that might not be the case here.

The program will definitely require quite a large maount of bandwidth for it to function in mining (though I'm not specifically sure of this amount, but it'll have to tyr and keep connecting to your device every 100 milliseconds at least to check its status).

It's unlikely it'll be blocking the entire site as you then wouldn't be able t access the site at all.

And the script will either be PHP or JavaScript. It might be an idea to check the addons that have been added to your work computer such as NoScript which would interfere with this system (and normally be used to ensure staff don't download stuff that they don't want to and contaminate the work's computer systems and servers).

Whatever you earn bitcoins from faucet sites is not worth for the time you spend on these sites to claim. Even though bitcoins go to moon you can't make a big amount from these things. It is only for the beginners to good to explore but slowly needs to move on to other things to earn bitcoins.

Friends, some of you have noticed the mining option available in your account. This feature is currently in beta testing. We've deployed it to a select number of random accounts. Once we're confident it's working properly and providing value we'll release it to the entire community. We don't know yet how long this will take.
