You seem determined to ensure we don't have any genuine customers left.
You could aloways do the bet amount (in satoshi) times the bet odds to make it interesting. So someone who bets say 1 BTC with 20x odds would get 2 billion tickets...

How?
We're a cryptocurrency gambling site. The typical high roller signs up using a throwaway email address and uses TOR or VPN. They deposit, play and withdraw and then never use the account again. Sending people an email asking for information is not something that happens in this industry. Edit: I forgot to also point out a lot of our older accounts don't even have an email address as it wasn't required for the first few years and accounts were only created by BTC address. Thanks for explaining - did not think of that. I'm just trying to think of ways that manual interaction is required. The company I work for had a similar problem with a monthly competition they held last year to promote their 25th anniversary, they tried everything after the 3rd mth. Only things (unsure if it was a combination of these or one) Email verification, 3 question survey/question based on the site, and a Captcha. - entries dropped a good 40% after the third month and was consistent until the final month.

How about splitting the Lottery into a draw for "older" accounts and then a draw for "new" accounts. These bots have to continuously have to re-register "new" accounts to go undetected, so if you split the lottery into 2 separate Lotteries, then the bots will only be effective in the "new" Lottery and the "old" loyal users can have their own Lottery with much less bots having a influence on the outcome? The users can even be given a choice, where they want to buy tickets. Just put a little disclaimer on the "new" lottery that chances are higher that this lottery would be infiltrated by bots. Bots are actually exist since the first days of freebitcoin, at least I know there were many people abusing freebitcoin by creating many accounts to claim the free btc. If those old abusers are not banned yet, the split wont be effective as old users does not mean loyal users. Instead of splitting the lottery, it is better if freebitcoin find a better system to avoid those bots so bots wont be able to join the lotteries. Or simply make a new requirement for the lottery, accounts should be older than xx days or account should have at least wagered xx amount on the hilo games or other requirement to minimize the bots. If Wetsuit's bot detection was a good as TheQuin has mentioned, then most of the older bot accounts would have been blocked, so in theory you would only be left with genuine old accounts. They can then just add a prompt on the old lottery for new users to block them from using it. {If they try to buy tickets and they are not within a specific range, then the system just displays a message, telling them that they should buy lottery tickets from Lottery X, with a short explanation.} All Casinos have special areas for VIP users.

That's more than long enough for the system I came up with to find a very high percentage of the bots. I'm working with wetsuit on ways to stop the rest. All Casinos have special areas for VIP users. All the best bits of freebitco.in are for players that deposit and gamble their own money.

Any plans to implement Segwit?
I think segwit is already enabled, unless you're referring to native segwit bech address you can withdraw to segwit P2SH address (3...) and in fact the site sends payment from 3... address too Correct. We use Segwit to pay out withdrawals. Full Segwit support is on the todo list and as I've been using Bech32 wallets since last year I'll continue to nag wetsuit to do it. Thanks. FYI I asked this question through the contact form, as a test to see if I'd get a reply (I didn't). Not too worried about it but if it was a bigger issue, like needing to reset 2FA or a withdrawal problem, how responsive are they? Anyone have experience with this?

We get thousands of support emails a day. We do read all of them but only the important issues will get a reply.

In addition to what the others have said, it might be faster for you to add a phone number to 2FA and get it authenticated that way (you can usually order your PAC which controlls your phone number). However, there is a hierarchy in the way thing should and will be answered (as TheQuin said) it would be interesting to see if you do get a response at some point though but that might not be for a while (unless it's definite that you won't)?

It's that one. It was a general enquiry not a critical support issue so it will not get answered through the support email system. Less important issues we deal with through this forum. Oh and yes please always set the telephone number to recover your 2FA. Also, please set the profile withdrawal address to one you can sign a message from as that is what we need to reset it otherwise.

After reading posts made since my last visit here I've found out that some great changes were made on the site. To tell the truth I didn't fully understand how exactly you excluded bots from the lottery, but I'm sure you did, and I think now, while those hackers haven't invented a new way to abuse the lottery (I hope they will never succeed in that), it's time to buy some tickets. Also I was intrigued by your interest rate so I deposited 0.007 to see how it works. The money appeared on my FreeBitco.in balance immediately after the first confirmation. Thanks for the speed! I don't remember when I was holding big amounts on the site, but it looks like I was in the past because when I looked at the EARN BTC section I saw this: I know, not that much, but still. Btw now, according to INTEREST CALCULATOR my current monthly interest equals to 0.00002374 BTC. I'm thinking on buying lottery tickets with the money to get a chance to win really big.

Some day 2000 satoshi might be worth $20+ if Satoshi's prediction was right (of each satoshi being like a cent). Putting it on the lottery is definitely a good idea. I used to do that myself too when I earnt about that amount of interest (try to avoid the multiply btc with high amounts, go at it with 0.001 BTC if you want just don't Yolo with it if you want to keep getting interest). I was going to put a deposit on here as a backup but have bought a casascius coin and converted my remaining amount to fiat (as I think bitcoin will possibly fall again before the next rise although I might have acted too rashly).

I'd love to tell you what we're doing but the botters read this so I won't. A couple of very well informed people contacted me with a lot of insight. I passed that on to wetsuit, along with some ideas of how to use that information and then we come up with some measures to detect them. He does all the really hard work of programming it all up. I think the lottery is doing really good this week, tickets down to a projected 310 million last time I calculated it. The botters haven't given up as you will see from the new signups on our stats page. But I can say that the vast majority of them are getting 0 Satoshi from us

All new accounts are excluded from buying lottery tickets until they reach 25 free rolls. Other than that everyone can play. The bot detection system just bans accounts from free rolls. If I then look at the banned accounts list and find a botnet I just delete the accounts.

So, if it is no problem to ask, what is the oustanding balance in everybody's accounts? As in, if everybody were to set automatic withdrawal, what would the next payout total be like? I bet it's huge!
You can see that on the stats page. 'User savings' means the total balance of all accounts and it is 1,262.449 BTC. Sorry I did not see this response earlier and yes I can access that page now. That is a huge amount in user accounts, I thought savings was what people put into freebitco.in as interest-earning deposits, but now I know. That is even a bigger bankroll that one casino I play at every day! By a few Bitcoins of course, since the bankroll dipped by 10% recently from some big win. Over $8 million dollars. I can't believe any other faucet site can speak of this type of amount, and Bitcoin isn't even half of ATH.

The wagering contest for the month of August will be ending soon, but it seems that the winner on the 1st place of the previous wagering contest is not wagering big amount this month, the user ID of the winner in the previous wagering contest is 14107731, but I didn't see him taking up any spots yet in the top 10 players for this month wagering contest, I was thinking if he will appear and start to wager huge amount of money before this month wagering contest ends or will we see a new player winning this month big prize for the 1st place.

Unless he/she is addicted to gambling then they may gamble every day and month. But he may be thinking that whatever he has got lost month may be good enough and may come back sometime later. If you play or wager dice game more and more then finally people lose more than they get. Good luck to the people who are competing this month.
