Does that bonus thing affect the affiliate as well ?

Which bonus? We have many.

Have you guys seen a drop in the betting as well or is it just my affiliates ?

No. You can see the daily wagered amount on the stats page. It is averaging about 250BTC a day which in dollar equivalent has been steady for a long time. There are occasional spikes and it is always higher on 4x and 5x reward weekends.

Have you guys seen a drop in the betting as well or is it just my affiliates ? I wanted to check if that is because the bonus also affects the % we make from the affiliates or is it just my affiliates finally realized they are gambling Cheesy. I need to keep finding fresh affiliates constantly and even tough I make profit from them on the long run I have to keep spending that money on getting new ones and it becomes like a cycle instead of a stream after a while

Get used to that

I just checked and I have 122 referrals at the moment, while only 4 of them are currently active. Apart from reward points, I don't receive anything from them, so it is the best they can get out of FreeBitco.in by being a referral (other than being their own referral, of course)

As Alice from Wonderland says, you have to run just to stay in place, and if you wish to go anywhere you must run twice as fast as that. It is fully applicable to referrals, so if you want to earn from them (I don't), you have to always be looking for new ways to attract fresh referrals as you can't do much to keep the existing ones playing

Is there a reason why the Lottery Winners' prizes amount became less than what it was a year ago? In contrary, the lottery ticket price was doubled (because of the current BTC price).
If I'm not mistaken, last 2017, winners number 1 & 2's prizes were at least 1.5BTC and 1.0BTC respectively; even #1 can't barely reach 1BTC even though Bitcoin's price is still at ~3k range.

Yeah, last year we had lots of bots exploiting the lottery. Someone figured out they could open tens of thousands of accounts and deposit and buy lottery tickets. This gave them free BTC bonus and enough tickets from free-rolls to win ~8 out 10 prizes each week which made it a +EV game for them.
If you look through the old results you'll see a very sharp drop in tickets after round 168 when we stopped paying out to them.

That's all?
I thought it was based from the increasing number of users that also increases the number of "free tickets" (from free rolls and referrals).
If it was based from bots, the overall prizes amount shouldn't be affected, they will be banned anyways; IMO, it's not related to the prizes at all.

If you look through the old results you'll see a very sharp drop in tickets after round 168 when we stopped paying out to them.
Okay, so the prizes were based from the number of "sold" tickets, not from the total number of tickets. Right?

No. All tickets increase the prizes.

Running tens of thousands of bot accounts gave them the tickets they deposited to purchase, tickets from free-rolls and then they spent free-roll winnings on more tickets. All of these tickets increased the prizes and with between 60%-80% of the tickets each week, was very profitable for them.

that's crazy. which is funny to read your answer to the question.
Maybe bots and increase the number of lottery tickets, but not as much as you see it)) to Buy lottery tickets bottom made no sense, it was not profitable, and not necessarily, on the contrary, the majority of Botero disconnected the function of getting lottery tickets and received more rewards points.

What is funny is you being completely wrong. What I said was exactly what was happening. The immediate sharp decrease in the number of tickets when they stopped doing it shows that for everyone to see.

My base reward for free roll was increased today from 49 SAT to 59 SAT. But i didn't played multiply or buying lottery tickets. Is this because my referrals are playing / buying tickets?

It could be in a way. Your balance is also factored into the equation so the extra referral income you made could be responsible for getting you back to full base reward.

Why would anyone think they know better than the owners of the website ? Like what makes them so sure that their reason for drop of the prize is better than the actual owners of the website. They can even double check and see the results and when it started to went down, it is something provable as well. I really have no clue why someone would do something like this and insist on themselves being right with proof over people who tell them the reason with proof.

By the way I didn't know bots really did that, it must have been a good software for them when existed, wonder how much they managed to get out from the prizes before you guys banned them. Are there any attempts to do something shady by that type of people today ? Anyone tries to rob a free bitcoin place must be real pos, its a free bitcoin website, why would you want to bankrupt a place like this.

60%-80% of the lottery tickets where produced by the bot networks?  Shocked And its now over  Cool
That's actually very important news, I have overlooked it somehow.
This means that chances for lottery win for ordinary, genuine users increased adequately and quite dramatically!
Finally a good reason to use RP as boost for them tickets.

First prize  Cry

I can say that the one who got the first prize was very lucky indeed. He had the lowest number of tickets but he got the top prize. Playing on this site since 2014-2015, but stopped for 3 years and come back this year only. Good thing you can recover your pw by providing the email address you used before. Never won from the lottery ever since.  Sad

Great job then to put off so many bots here so at least what I know every single winners here is a real person Grin. Anyway about the lottery tickets, is it correspond with the wagering contest? I thought that higher wagered means better prize and better tickets as well. So with bigger wager amount, then the prize will be more than 1 btc right? Assume on your big wagering every month

I'd treat the lottery thing as a bonus since I'm not even confident on winning it anyway Cheesy

But don't all sites do the same thing about the pw recovery thingy?

Hey he got very lucky it’s been quiet a while since I saw someone with the lowest tickets, win the the top price on the site. It doesn’t matter how long you play on the site, if it’s your lucky day you could win it any week keep trying. I’m not sure what you meant about the email though, because all online sites have that system in place?.

Exactly this. Back in the past, not only I wasn't buying the lottery tickets, I even disabled lottery in my profile in order to receive reward points instead of lottery tickets with my free rolls. But after those bots were taken care of, I enabled the lottery, and I currently I buy 200-2,000 tickets every week. Indeed, the chances of winning in the lottery increased dramatically for genuine users.

All of these tickets increased the prizes and with between 60%-80% of the tickets each week, was very profitable for them.

With or without bots, your chances of winning the lottery is still very small. It might be higher now but still not enough for me to try it. I too disabled it years ago and never looked back. But I don't recommend it to everybody. It is because thanks to the people like me, your chances of winning is also increasing.
