This is somehow implausible if you mean a cold wallet. Its synchronization from scratch takes a maximum of 5 days, with a low Internet speed.
You can also trim old blocks so that it does not take up much space, and a maximum of 13 gigabytes at the moment.
To do this, it is enough to write a command in the wallet shortcut after installing the wallet (necessarily before the first launch of the wallet), for example:
D:\BTC\BTCWallet\bitcoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\BTC\BTCWallet\ -prune=600 -listen=0

Well, and accordingly, you need to make a backup of the wallet at least once a week, when there are a lot of transactions in it, so that you don’t have to download all the blocks from scratch again, and in general, when there is a balance on it.


Even if you use the prune command, the entire blockchain is still downloaded and validated first. It's also worth noting that blockchain download times are affected not only by slow internet speed but also by hardware components. In particular, a weak CPU and low RAM can significantly slow down this process, and if you download to an HDD, this process can take weeks rather than days.
In the case of freebitcoin, it can be assumed that they simply have a weak server and therefore expect the synchronization process to take some time.

Storing a cold wallet on a server, and even on a weak one, is idiotic.
I had a wallet backup, but I remembered that the old flash drive had wallet.dat, which had money on it. But to restore it, I had to completely synchronize the wallet again.
I have a rather outdated laptop from 2020 and a wallet on the HDD from scratch after installation, it should have synchronized in 5 days (that's what it showed). But I still decided to run synchronization on the SSD. The wallet synchronized in 3 days. Maybe it would have been almost the same on the HDD. It initially shows incorrect values.

And to even think of the fact that this guys have always been here reading out comments, complains and all and didn't thought it wise to ever reply or make a press statement is very sickening, unfortunately, humans being are sometimes like ants which sees where they are being killed and keep running there instead of running far away.

I have read a comment about of someone who still went ahead to deposit 0.012 bitcoin to the casino even during the downtime when users are being adviced to withdraw their fund from this casino and look for a better casino to play on, but that one went ahead still depositing over $1300 to the casino and now he's complaining of his deposit not being or not getting credited, sorry but I have no pity for the victim incases like this, and I pray that freebitco even sort this out at the end of the day.

Many people have not received their deposits, including me, and it was a long time ago, since July 16, 2025, when global problems began.
I had a window hanging for several days with a pending deposit of 0.00399096
But after contacting their technical support, the window disappeared and the deposit was not credited.
A friend had the same situation almost on the same days.
After that, naturally, we did not send any more deposits.
I don’t think that if the site starts working, these deposits will be credited, and I especially don’t think that the payments that are currently pending will be made.

The thing is, a site like this, which is essentially an online casino, if instead of existing in an internet limbo it had a license in countries with strict regulations, such as European countries, it would have been shut down by the authorities a long time ago. It's a shame because it's a site without KYC that worked well for a long time, but it's yet another example of the need for strict regulation of the gambling industry.

The best option for the site administration would be to return the declared amounts for payment back to the users' balance and then talk about problems with the wallet.
This would make it possible to reduce the burden on payments, since most users would again lose their balances in MULTI.  Grin

Why would you even send money onto this service of they are having (apparently) so many problem with their own liquidity and withdrawals? Are you completely new im this community or haven't you been reading the discussion on this thread?

While there are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people who have not been able to get their money back from this casino, then you decide it is a good time to deposit on it? Why?

That deposit you made could be pretty much lost, does it even matter you deposited it during a time their system was not synchronized?

Doing that is huge mistakes and to bad he didn't do a research before depositing in this casino.

If it happens that he check this thread or at least find good information if they are still running without any issue, for sure that they would find out that there's already a problem happening with them. Now he join with those lots of people posting those claims saying that their deposit is not credited or either their withdrawals has been stuck and also not credited to their wallets. So its really more better for people to stop playing while they can't offer any smooth transactions to their gamblers.

His problem has been going on since May of this year, it's not a recent problem, unfortunately the site hasn't resolved his problem to this day, we're talking about a problem that's been unresolved for over 4 months and I agree with you that this case won't be resolved, but I hope that @Joementum files a scam charge against the site and provides all the evidence he has, I suggest he also include the @freebitco.in PR profile as the scammer, since now he's the only one to answer for here at the casino

His problem has been going on since May of this year, it's not a recent problem, unfortunately the site hasn't resolved his problem to this day, we're talking about a problem that's been unresolved for over 4 months and I agree with you that this case won't be resolved, but I hope that @Joementum files a scam charge against the site and provides all the evidence he has, I suggest he also include the @freebitco.in PR profile as the scammer, since now he's the only one to answer for here at the casino

I don't know why you say the problems started in May, if for me personally they started in mid-July.
I won't go to the forum and read the messages if I don't have problems with the site. Why would I need to?
Until mid-July, both deposits and withdrawals were processed without any particular delays.

Why would you even send money onto this service of they are having (apparently) so many problem with their own liquidity and withdrawals? Are you completely new im this community or haven't you been reading the discussion on this thread?

While there are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people who have not been able to get their money back from this casino, then you decide it is a good time to deposit on it? Why?

That deposit you made could be pretty much lost, does it even matter you deposited it during a time their system was not synchronized?

It was during the big downtime around End of March to April 3rd I believe.
Didn't check the status of the website beforehand, it was working fine a couple days earlier.
They received the funds just fine, they just never made it to my account.
Unfortunately you can't really track on the website what a user did with the funds exactly, there's not really a good internal transaction logs for users. I'm hoping they have the data.

Seriously, this casino has a lot of red flag so I’m surprised many are still interested to use this casino and in fact many user will deposit again after the announcement done like nothing happened even though their wallet problem is not fixed yet.

The representative just give an update and went offline again like nothing happened here.

Even if they have the data, unfortunately I doubt they will credit you your money anyways. They have been having many problem with withdrawals and liquidity. I suspect it is something which was generated because of what they decided to do with their FUN token.

That's right, Hispo. It's pathetic what's happening with this site, which I'm sure most of us on the forum have used at one time or another. For many, it was even their first contact with Bitcoin, playing the free roll. As things stand, and they haven't stopped getting worse, only a miracle can get the casino back to normal. And the bad thing is that I don't believe in miracles, much less in gambling.

It's curious...
- That they haven't sent payments since August 5th.
- That they've moved their cryptos to Binance.

And they fix it with a tweet/message? I'm just saying that FBC is doing better than ever, page is not freezing... but that's because there are no external deposits and internal payments.

A tweet is not proof that we can get the money back.
Who knows how long the wallet server will take to "resync"

I mean, just a mere update took months to get posted here or on x.com, then how about resyncing? I am looking at maybe years?  Grin

Or perhaps they are waiting for some ignorant folks to make deposits on the casino before they can wrap it up, go into retirement and live happily ever after.

Funny story: tried to access my account from where I live (Portugal) like always without any vpn or similar. Cannot anymore, reset password, received the email and tried again no luck. Try to reset 2FA says I am not using same ISP from previous time. Then installed VPN and tried a couple of world locations just to check and found that last access to my account was made in LA area using a local ISP. Never been to the US in my life. Tried to ask them to reset it by showing these findings, response was that they cannot... Lost confidence in the crypto world... Best of luck to everyone.
