Many users have certainly massively withdrawn the funds they were holding there (for the 4%APY in BTC especially) during those months, and the platform has always been able to process those withdrawals until august. So I don't understand why they would be bankrupt now for the remaining 5 or 10% while they still have billions of FUN tokens.
In addition before going bankrupt you can do several basic things like rising withdrawal fees, rising the minimum withdrawal threshold, setting a cap for withdrawal amounts and their frequency, etc. they didn't do any of that, so for me it's an important element to take into account.

There were many users who held over $1 million there.

The volume may decrease though time, as trader realize what is going on with the ecosystem created by Freebitco, but there is no way Binance will delist the token from their books and their markets, even if there are some flaws and shady behavior behind those managing the project, as long as there is volume, the exchange will continue to win money, so will the casino.

Also it is incredibly reckless of anyone keeping up to one million dollars on a centralized casino, for the sake of getting passive income or perks, it is not worth the risk whatsoever.

This "hypothesis" is based on experience running 20 faucets ourselves, as well as proper observation over our competitors. We do see things many others cannot see from their end, such as user behavior, you can't create this information without being in that zone.

You're asking "I don't understand why they would be bankrupt now for the remaining 5 or 10% while they still have billions of FUN tokens" - you can see clearly from mid-2023 and a bit before then, a decrease in interest in user support, customer service did not handle tickets well, and on top of it - in 2024 you started seeing withdrawals being manually processed, just like the example we gave in that article from February 2024 here it is again on Twitter:

There were lots of similar complaints already back then, but users eventually got these processed, until the peak, the pinnacle you saw back in August 2025 a month and a half ago.

If you've been blocked by FBC administration and they've stolen your money, no one will help. This is done intentionally to discourage you from taking more screenshots.
Even if you regain access to the site, you won't be able to withdraw your funds, and if you send them to another user, they won't be able to withdraw them either.

The site isn't paying anyone. It's dead. Forget about it. Your funds are gone.

Most likely, the FBC administration dropped everything and fled to another country and is currently hiding in their own country. Or perhaps they've already been prosecuted for tax evasion.

If you say you have 350 million FUN there, then even your money, as a single user, is enough to live comfortably.

These were not technical problems (they wanted us to think so), but intentional actions. You probably noticed that for a while, every day at the exact same time — 2 am UTC — the outage started right on the dot, but ended at different hours. Doesn’t that seem strange? It looked as if some algorithm was automatically shutting down the site at a programmed time. As far as I remember, this went on for more than a week, with outages starting at 2 am., and during that time $FUN tokens were being generated.

This site started to have problems in late 2023 and not in 2024, I still remember this very well as we all were anticipating for the coming bitcoin halving in the coming year and hoped the management of the site will fix the issue before we enter the year, we eventually entered 2024 and the issue was not fixed, rather, the site moved from having one issue to another and till this very day, we are still here..

At a point, may of us started to believe that the first management of the site must have sold it to someone who does not know how to operate the site from the backend, but happening then later showed us that that thought is wrong, it is simply as I personally concluded that the owners must have become tired of running the site, but they simply can't just turn it off just like that for no reason, they did be called scammers and the authorities may come after them, this is possibly why they letting everything happen slowly and steadily.

The problems started showing in 2023, but they had started way before that. @get-paid had some interesting analysis, but I think the problem with these types of businesses is that they try so hard to become big, but after they grow to some level, they just give up and think they can just sit back and just count their money. That rarely works in a normal business but it definitely won't work with a gambling model since we know that in the long run the house has to win not the player. In other words their customers should technically be losing money in the long run, so they won't stick around which means they need to constantly attract more customers which takes a lot of effort. Which old gambling site is still advertising like their early days? None.

I remember your post but I don't understand why they kept the faucet if it's so unprofitable for them. They had two casinos, dplay.casino and club.riches, which Freebitco could use as a solution for their problem. They could redirect Freebitco to dplay.casino or club.riches and finally shut down their faucet business model but instead they shut down dplay.casino and club riches, so I don't understand why they did this.

They were completely giving away a good amount of BTC through the faucet. But all these issues are also related to the 25% APY of FUN tokens premium membership benefits. They have reduced it to 10% recently, but it was too late to do that. For a while, I was thinking that they would try to redirect all the users to dPlay and ClubRiches by taking some steps. But I was surprised when I heard that they were going to close both of those platforms.

I also thought that Dplay and Club Riches were the final destination for Freebitco because in the last few years, casino market has significantly advanced and in order to remain competitive, Freebitco had to improve too and I thought that they decided to keep old Freebitco like Stake decided to keep old Primedice but instead Freebitco would promote a new dPlay and Club Riches, that would offer much better products and user experience.

Btw the relationship between FUN token and Freebitco.in is very strange. I thought that Freebitco and FUN became one part but recently I see that FUN is on its own and Freebitco is on its own. FUN token even removed Freebitco and its related projects from their website and no longer associate themselves with Freebitco. This is also strange, especially when Freebitco still offers FUN token APY to their customers.

It's lucky you withdrew in time. If you had tried to withdraw now, with the price much higher than last year, and found that the funds couldn't be moved from the site, it would have been a real pain. Did you withdraw that amount because you could see that things were going badly? The 30,000 sats are nothing if that's the price to pay to finally confirm that FBI has gone bust.
