The BTC in Japan and Korea is legal and protected by law, but the BTC in China is not recognized by the government.

1. bitcoin imposible to protect by law

In some countries this might be considered as a crime, but users has got the opportunity to keep hold of it with cent percent anonymity. So, even if it is a crime people can keep hold of it. Another thing is that, there are people who still make use of bitcoin even when they're in countries which were against bitcoin.

Actually it is a widely spread rumor that BITCOIN is being used by criminals for illegal purposes and for this reason sometimes the one who owns BITCOIN is considered to be a wrong person. But it is not the reality it depends on the purpose for which you are using BITCOIN.

How can holding a digital currency be a crime !?
NO it's obviously not a crime .
Though it's anonymous and many nations kinda restrict and don't want their public to interact with bitcoins and other crypto currencies directly , holding it wouldn't be considered a crime.

I dont know where this issue comes from but i can only imagine that this is a scheme by other so that everyone will be afraid or cautious in investing in bitcoin. If it is a crime to have bitcoin, they wouldnt even endorse that people have bitcoin

No. Possessing bitcoin is definitely not a crime. It is not a bad thing to have and possess because we do not have a law stating that it is illegal. Although, maybe some of the users of it use bitcoin for illegal doing or unacceptable acts like scamming people that doesn't mean having it is not right. People who own bitcoin earn it in a right way and right procedure. Does having an income like this is a crime ? Does working hard to achieve something like this a crime ? I don't think so. Therefore I conclude, possesing bitcoin is not a crime.

NOPE! The report says that bitcoin or alts is used to bought illegal items like drugs, firearms and the like.
The question is, if you buy those illegal stuff and pay using dollar, does it means that owning a dollar is a crime to?
Bitcoin is a form of currency, owning it and donating it to the charity is good thing, but using it in illegal activities doesn't count it is illegal to.
One thing that just government din't like about it is its anonymity. Unlike cash, the government could track and pinpoint people.

Then having money is a crime, if your reason why post this is because bitcoin is being use to process or transact withh illegal doings, then possessing money is like holding a gun too, because before bitcoin was made, money is the main payment for their illegal transactions.

Of course not, having bitcoin is not a crime.
However, you will be deemed unlawful if you hold bitcoin, while the government in your country forbids bitcoin.

Currently in my country, there are many ways to get involved and get Bitcoin, in which many people have traded and joined Bitcoin for years as undetected by the government, I think bitcoin should be Accepted in my country as more and more people participate.
