Before I was taking a part in almost every airdrop, some of them were quite profitable but it was last year. The sutuation now is different and I must agree that most of airdrops is a waste of time.Maybe not 99% but more than 70%.

I really had a very bad experience with the Airdrops, some ICO's didn't pay or some which pays the price of coin is very much low so that you can't sell them.

I think that this true was not surprise for most people who participate in airdrop. Most airdrops have only 1 target - to collect emails of potential cryptoinvestors. This DB will be later used for promoting different projects or sending phishing links.

Airdrops just fill up the wallet  with trash. And it's no secret that with the help of airdrops people are stuffed with telegram channels and chats.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

Surely most all of them are useless that after you recieve there is no exchanger for them anymore. You are just wasting your time to join in this airdrop some of them are also taking you informations.

Not all airdrop is a scam. I think  60 to 70% maybe a scam.
However, Its better to give your time participating in bounty campaigns rather than airdrop

Actually yes, but in my opinion, if you will get at least $10 from airdrop, it can be worth that 9 times you`ve got nothing, it also can grow

I wouldnt say they are scam but they sure are a good promotion for the project. Usually you spend more time on doing all the tasks than the airdrop is worth in the and but there is always the thrill to get some free tokens.

It is common if most airdrop is a scam.
Let's think first, not all people wanted to give you free money for nothing Cheesy
Even if the airdrop is SCAM then you will not feel loss because you don't even spend a money for this.

I'm proud that my ERC20 token WSPU2 airdrop is among the 1%

You are doubting?
Minimum payout is $0.02 so if you are doubting you can ask quickly a payout and so your doubt is stopted.

The incredible project to fix a price for BCRM,but incredible is not French < https://winspiral.com >Earn BCRM for free and trade them for cash or cryptomoney ...and !!! https://winspiral.com/public/snowball.php

I mean yeah airdrops are just always gonna be like that, its the first sign that the company is a live and it wants to start their story, if you say 50% of ICOs succeed, than imagine what little amount of airdrops do it as its the first step

I participate in a lot of airdrops and i agree that most of the airdrops are scam!! I joined an airdrop, and it is in telegram, a bot and you will claim every hour to receive token and to payout you need 100tokens of that. And guess what i reach 50 tokens so i cannot withdraw? Because it is not 100, see? That means you have to buy firt more of their tokens before you can withdraw them. So long pure scam and i do not participate anymore.

This is just their advertisement. They only use it to attract the attention of the audience. There is not much value, but it cannot be said that they are fraudsters. They can only be said that they have no long-term growth value.

In 2017 there are a lot of profitable airdrops readily available for everyone. But nowadays the percentage of scam airdrops are steadily increasing losing faith in it.

Well maybe since the number of the participants to consider will compromise the reward system that is being allocated for the airdrop participants. As we all know that ICO conducting airdrop needs more or less 5,000 - 10,000 participants for effective promotion of their projects. That is why it is hard to pay that number of participants because in the end the crowd's fund to gather will compromise also due to airdrop payments. So they better not to pay airdrop participants at all. Too bad for them that they are only using us to and then we receive nothing from them.
