Well maybe since the number of the participants to consider will compromise the reward system that is being allocated for the airdrop participants. As we all know that ICO conducting airdrop needs more or less 5,000 - 10,000 participants for effective promotion of their projects. That is why it is hard to pay that number of participants because in the end the crowd's fund to gather will compromise also due to airdrop payments. So they better not to pay airdrop participants at all. Too bad for them that they are only using us to and then we receive nothing from them.

I will go with eighty eight percent (88%), every project has their reason to drop out especially when they do not meet the soft cap, as you know this matter will determine if the project will continue or they will be progressive.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.
What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
it's correct. You say absolutely correct. In the past month or two I have not received any coins with Airdrop. There are lots of Airdrop but they never pay coin for people

The same can be said about ICO. Just before the airdrop, you must always check whether the project is standing or not. And the best way is to simply sell the coins as soon as possible

I have participated in most airdrops, but not all of them are scams. Have recieved about 70% tokens of the airdrops i participated in. So i guess 99% of airdrops been scams is too huge.

Nope. best example is HYDRO project airdrop. so they airdropped 222K tokens to each participant. its total supply is 11 billion and only 2.6 billion in circulating. so supply is not much higher. value of 222K tokens after listing on exchange was $500+ but within few weeks its value is more than $3200 now. still its marketcap is just 40 million. so if it reach 400 million that airdrop will be worth $32000. im sure it will happen in coming months because its a quality project and team is very good. cuurent price is $0.015 per coin. still very cheap. think if it reach $1 per coin. free $222K from a airdrop. its great project .
So i think there are legit airdrops too. 30% of them can be legit and 1% of them will be good ones like hydro coin airdrop.

For now almost all are airdrop are scam not just like before. Unlike the airdrops in the past year are all legit but now there is only few airdrops that are good. Now i stop joining in airdrops because i only receive little just because there are so many participants.

I'm agreed there are a lot of legit airdrops in the market, but for sure 90% of all airdrops are scams. Do your own research.

I do not see any reason to participate in them at all. It's better to spend time looking for a good bounty.

I participate in a lot of airdrops and i agree that most of the airdrops are scam!! I joined an airdrop, and it is in telegram, a bot and you will claim every hour to receive token and to payout you need 100tokens of that. And guess what i reach 50 tokens so i cannot withdraw? Because it is not 100, see? That means you have to buy firt more of their tokens before you can withdraw them. So long pure scam and i do not participate anymore.
Of course, scams are becoming more than ever because the crypto market has grown a long enough time, altcoin also has a large amount and each altcoin has support for different fields and communities. That means the idea of ico projects will often be repeated, investors will not be interested, projects are created only to scam and take money from people without knowledge will be majority, so airdrop from the project that used for advertising, it does not bring too many benefits to people like us, the airdrop hunter

I add a little, most of them failed and led to a scam. Statistics from Tokentops reveal, 99% of ICO has become SCAM and confirmed failed. thousands of crypto or new tokens have been created over the past few years, and over 90% have failed. Even if we visit the Coinmarketcap site, there are about 1,540 coins that have been created and marketed in the market, but more than 50% of them have market valuations of less than 1 million USD. That is, the adoption that occurs on the coins can be said to fail.

Everything goes to that projects behind which there is no real idea or product will fail. What about airdrops? This is a good way to attract the community and it benefits both parties.

Even if airdrop is a scam, there are still thousands of participants who wanted to join since it was all for free. Besides, your 99% view on airdrop was over reacted. There are lots of airdrops out there got listed in coinmarketcap and still profitable. There are also real airdrop from real project to get more supporters. It seems that you really are not familiar how airdrops works. You better do your own research first before ranting around.

You are correct most of them are scam. The Airdrop project owners are thieves who are only interested in the donation they will get from unsuspecting hunters that will donate their hard earned Ether which they claimed to be used as gas or a support their effort in listing their scamming token.

Thanks...so you take me for a thief??? Do not forget that i give the opportunity to get free WSPU2 and you are not to take them if you do not want. I'm the only one airdrop projector who allows to trade the free WSPU2pts directly for dollars.

Many of the airdrops are surely scammers but not most of them though. It is still one of the good activities that is being used by ICOs to attract more people to join on their community.

As you said, I also believe that 90% of airdrop missions are deceptive. Basically, they don't distribute cryptocurrencies according to what they say. I did a one-month airdrop mission and only received a type of currency that was distributed by airdrops. , I don't know if it's my own reason or they don't want to distribute!
