I think It is true that most of these airdrops are a scam. As I have participated a lot of them over the past few months, but only one or two of them have rewarded coins.

First of all I would say that not 99% of them are, sometimes the project can pay a little amount of money, not the amount that you have anticipated, sometimes they would not get the cap, sometimes just the price is small.

Include those ICO that are not good also and relatively had a giving bounty hunters a thank you reward on our effort and hardwork with them on the following months. I have been in my bounty campaigns and this is already the third time of the project that i promote and those previous project does not literally had being rewarded and i was depressed since i am expecting something on that campaign because they were able to gather a good amount from the crowd. But as per bounty manager begging for the reward the team turn their heads away. Simple way to earn and that includes scamming bounty hunters.

yes, I strongly agree with your opinion that almost all Airdrops end up with penam (SCAM) I've been experiencing a lot of airdrops that ultimately do not pay and just try to cheat, or they just pay with useless shitcoin

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
In this year it is very much airdrop that does not pay. In contrast to last year, faithful airdrop always pay and legit.
Now many too many ICO scam so airdrop will not be paid.

Scam really?
Sure most of them are completely useless. But it's not like you're paying anything to enter airdrop. Only time is lost.
Yes,
but if something is promised and not held it is scam even if you have only lost time.
I will add that time is exactly the most valuable thing a person has!!!

I try to avoid AIRDROP, because they pay little! KYC is still needed in some! And a lot of scams! I try to do more bounty than AIRDROP. I don't want to waste time!

This is new to me. I did not know that 99% were scams. I have participated in roughly 20 Air Drops and got all except for Deep Onion. I don't understand why a crypto dev team would offer coins and generate them at no cost to the team, only to renege on a tipping form of adoption.

I do agree, because  most of airdrops are scam. The project sometime scam and do not paying for our job which have promoted their project. I face many times of being scam in airdrop.

First of all we need to decide what means scam, the scan means willingly, on purpose deceive people, in order to get their money stolen. So now, I think, you must agree, the definitely not 99% of air drops are scam.

scam can be identified in many terms. you can get scammed if you pay but you didnt get any return, you can also get scammed by working without getting paid, etc. there are many ways to get scammed and airdrops is not an exeption although i disagree when the op says 99 percent. as on what ive experience as an airdrop enthusiast there were most of them are still paying a long as youv done the small task given by them correctly. i think 70% of the airdrops are legit or paying and the rest 30% does not pay you or they pay thier coins without any future values.

I don't have any experience about airdrop but my friends told me that some if ICO is shitcoin or no value so if I want to join to airdrop just make sure that is good project, have roadmap and website.

I think that 99% is too critical a look. But in principle, the truth is somewhere near. My view that in fact around 95% of the airdrops are unsuccessful projects, the tokens of which will not cost anything in the future.

I can confirm that 99% of airdrops are pure scam and do nothing.... I joined more than 500 airdrops at the beginning and I received only few bucks.... bounty campaign are MUCH better.

99% of all airdrops are scams, but there are 1% of airdrops are real. If you carefully analyze the projects behind the airdrops, you can still find out which are the real projects from the airdrops.

I guess yeah, there are lots of projects who don't pay at all.. and to be honest, this is kinda ruined the whole thing up because :

1. Because of some projects who don't pay, people started to perceive / view almost all projects as a scam whatsoever. Or at least be sceptical.
2. It ruined the community, and might ruin the legit projects as well.
3. Any many more.

Although I have to say that scamming in this market is inevitable, I guess we just have to deal with it. Afterall, what's meant to be yours will be yours.
And it's a free stuff, so don't be so upset..

I don't agree with you. About 70 percent of all airdrop companies are scams, but 99 percent of which you're talking about is clearly an inflated figure.
