I took part in a few airdrop events and my experience was negative: most didn't pay me, and the rewards from a few people who sent me the rewards were of little value. In my opinion, it would be better to choose to participate in the reward activities, but they want higher, but at the very least, they have to pay the price.

I have long ceased to take part in Airdrop, according to my observations now 1 out of 10 only pays, the rest are just frank scammers

I have stopped doing airdrop long ago, since i had a bad experience, I stopped the airdrop, I join an airdrop by filling some form, after that, I keep getting fake emails about token claim and they require me to put my private key to claim. Since then i stop joining airdrop.

There is an exception to this, we can categorically say 99% of all airdrop are scam, there are some valid airdrop and you'll get your reward

Yes it's true that most of the airdrops are scam, non-paying or just a shitcoins but there are some airdrops that are really good so I suggest to don't stop doing it because it's quiet easy to do, its just like a 5-minute work and you're done. Smiley

You are right, it is important where you find the airdrops and what kind of projects it are. There are websites who are listing different airdrops, if you follow the airdrops from there you can earn something with the airdrops.

I do not think that 99% of airdrop is a scam. there are still some valuable airdrop. But now it has a little airdrop that is worth. Most of today's airdrops are now worthless.

yes the times of the worthwhile airdrops are over. but nevertheless,
the number is certainly too high with 99%. I would estimate half but not 99%.  Wink

If you're not paying for the product, you are the product. With doing an airdrop the project creates awareness about their ICO or token.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

Yes, i experienced this one, i joined a lot of airdrops and i received just 1 tokens, 5 tokens, and that is unfair. Some of airdrops are scam or giving a small amount value of token. Do you think that is a fair distribution? You need more referrals just to get more tokens... For me i don't like that process, airdrop is an airdrop!

It does not seem 99%, but it's mostly just a false promise. How could Airdrop be shared with participants unlimited. I think most of it already does not make sense, so there's no reason to participate.
I think there is still about 5% left to airdrop that is honest and not deceptive. it's just that their coin price is very cheap, although it is waiting for the division with the time is not clear when will be divided

I have not earned a single penny from airdrops since my joining and all airdrops proved to be scam and fake. So I can say 99% airdrops are scam and just wastage of time and energy.

Its obviously right and the only thing that has a good chance for airdrops is coins that already released in the market and offered airdrop. Do not join any random airdrops that only wants your personal information.

I believe that there are many icos, doing fake airdrops to fulfill their marketing

but all of them aren't bad either, some of them is providing a good opportunity.

Before participate people need to research on that projects very well, and I think

community projects which aren't doing any ico are trustworthy to some extent but

as i said there are scammers too.

This issue has been discussed many times. I repeat the sentence. If you can keep your Bitcoin, Ethereum, and don't invest in those tokens indiscriminately, how can you lose your money? Many people do not think anything and  send their Bitcoin and Ethereum to those scamers. This does not blame others.

I only participated in two airdrop before I decided to drop interest in airdrop. POSTOkEN and VNC are the two airdrop. postoken really paid well but the token is history today. I actually sold my token before the project turn to scam. VNC is complete waist of time because the owe project died before before final distribution. some problem I have realized about airdrop is that (1) most airdrop are managed by newbie that know little or know information about token distribution (2) most airdrop project have website that is under-developed (3) many of them do not even have a particular objective. all they will always tell you is that token will be listed in exchange and distribution will be in phases.

not all airdrop scam, many also pay.
it must choose and analyze it first. his name is also free, may or may not be acceptable only.

I noticed that most people who run their projects are newbies who have little experience with token distribution, so most projects become false so quickly.

My opinion 99% is not accurate, to find the good air you have to look through the basic information: website, twitter, telegram (other social networks ..), project development team, whitepaper, ... And to increase the reliability, the feasibility of the project side you should chat with admin or community via telegram (or discord) to ask about project.
Now that I'm doing airdrop PRIVACY coin, you can go to https://www.privcy.io/ for more details about a quality & potential airdrop.

Not all airdrop is bad, select and search for information about the airdrop you wish to participate in then you will get a valuable coin.

Yes i believe that way too, i prefer on investing in a specific cryptocurrency that has a potential to grow and hold it for a very long time or work on bounty campaigns more than focusing on airdrops that might send you into a fake  link or phishing site.
