Yes indeed! We cannot hold the fact that most of the airdrops are bogus, fake and scam. But for you to avoid it you just need to be more attentive in joining, be observant, be mindful and be more wiser in choosing an airdrops that you will going to participate.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

How can you classify the airdrop as scam when you had nothing to lose? You have no investment nor poured entities. You can say a certain thing to be scam if you are being promised by a decent return or you pour your capital in it and the team just ran away. I usually classify airdrop as giveaway or free money and not the other way around.

I dont know the exact percentage but yeah majority of ICO are scam, sad but true. Always be careful when investing on ICO, scrutinized the project thoroughly, in the end its you who will suffer. I myself, invests only whom I know it has a tangible project and back up by strong group or company.

Because there are so many bad ICO projects on the market that make airdrop campaigns more attractive to the media of those ICO projects. The effectiveness of the projects at this stage is ineffective.

As for Ayrdrop, you are absolutely right, but in the bounty campaigns, things are much better if you do not participate in frank scam projects..

Well... What kind of scams? They surely gave me the coins, freely. But they don't really worth anything. Should i consider that as scams? They never promised anything in the first place, and i get it for free. So not really hurt me at all.
Just for experience, we already know that it's worthless, so stop doing that and hoping for miracle. Seriously, you just waste your time that can be used for something even more greater. But well, we can't really blame them scams though, since i don't think it's a scam.

In fact, not 99 percent, but about 80 percent of airdrop is a fraud. But still, the percentage of scams is extremely high and this is very bad for the entire cryptocurrency market. A popovodu airdrop, I can say that it is better to participate in the bounty companies.

Its really bad things happen on airdrops which they are mostly are scams and only take our personal information to sell. Be careful not to join any kind of airdrops beside when they are already listed in the market.

Discord Airdrops are better....if you won Airdrop  they will pay  immediately. but they were not big airdrops and number of winners also low.

Well, I think airdrops are not scam because they still paying us as they promised. We might can called it useless thing because most tokens that we get from airdrop is worthless. That's why i never follow airdrop though to get it very easy, just sign up and do some of the easy tasks that they required. I prefer focus on bounty campaign that more promising.

I participated for many years in drops and did not earn so much here and decided that it was not much to gain from this until I got a good amount of money. Recently I stayed in business now, it motivates me.

Earlier we had another situation, and it was really possible to get a good reward for airdrop.

Yes, it is true, that is why i do not participate in it for now.
Earlier we had another situation, and it was really possible to get a good reward for airdrop.

It's hard to find a good projects and they are willing to pay after the ICO ends. But really so sad when it take months to meet the scam.

Man, I have a wallet just for that, I can assure you I've participated in more than 20 airdrops and only got one, even some bigger projects paid nothing.
