I agree that airdrops this year isn't good enough compared to lsst year. But it's not 99% scam, some of it are paying but not much. Bounty still much better than doing airdrops.

I have worried about this problem recently. But then I have decided that airdrops are not ICOs/ bounties, in which you invest your money/ a lot of time, you don’t need to analyze their whitepaper, team, idea, just only to fill the form and believe in your success))
I still try to participate in so much ardrops as I can and even don’t count their amount. I believe that among the last 1% there may be the future Ethereum, who knows? Also to make it easier I use special auto-filling scripts that I have found on this forum

This is really true. Now a lot of people fall into the situation when projects are in most cases scam projects. I do not understand this, it's only the greed of the developers. We need to figure out how to avoid this.

I don`t agree that 99% of airdrops are scam, as myself participated in 300 airdrops and 20 of them are already trading on the exchange, though not at a high price!

Majority of these airdrops are scams but there are still some few goods ones, although I am yet to benefit from any, but I have heard some positive results from others. It's almost as if every airdrop out there now is just to get people to publicize their shitty coin, after which they pack up with their profits and leave those who participated in the airdrops hanging.

If my coin WSPU2 turns shitty it is because WSPU2 holders turn it shitty.

So far it seems far away from shit...

People have what they do...
i'm laughing when I see coins supposed worth few cents befor they are tradable...
i'm sad to see tht my system is UNIQUE,this shows us that people are not interested to offer opportunities to make profit...
I'm proud to be the only one offering such advantage.

I don't create any document to check all airdrops in which I participated, but some of them give me big amount money, this is my experience.

I think most of airdrops are indeed scams and often it is worthless. But there are still very good air droplets, and I am participating in the PRiV aridrop which sees the team developing very professionally.

This is a good way to attract the community and it benefits both parties.

Not all airdrops are scams, and you need to do some research to find them and get good airdrops.

I prefer to spend this time on bounties and to learn carefully the project before participation. Good luck to everybody.

In my opinion, not all airdrops are scam, eventhough there are plenty of them give us small reward if we compared with another airdrops. But i think there's still many airdrops are outstanding and give us big reward without giving referrals just like airdrop nowadays. Just don't give up until find the good one like jewelry

It would be so unfair to just call 99 percent of the  airdrops as scams. But I would agree if you would say most of these airdrops as not so profitable. Maybe airdrops should be changed so that others should not be looking at it as scams. Negative comments would lay negative impressions about ICO which is not good not only to the concerned ICO but to all.

I think only airdrops like Ontology and Dfinity can give very big amount of money. Any other types of airdrops it's a clear gambling.

Airdrops can't give big amounts of money. When you understand this.
Only with referrals and only if it's a good project.

I agree with you.
Participation in Airdrops is a waste of time.
If you want to start earning tovens then it's best to participate in bounty campaigns.
However, in the Bounty campaigns there is also quite a lot of scams.

Although, some most airdrops this days can be very frustrating, but we still have some few ones doing great. Project like Onto, hydro make people millionaires through their airdrops

I have never participated in an airdrop before and I have never been interested in participating in airdrop, the reason is also what you mentioned, and now there is a lot of scam airdrop and although it is not scam but most of the revenue from airdrop is very small and does not even pay for its tokens at all.
it's okay the thread title that you made is rather provocative, if indeed the fact is like that would be how else? I really appreciate the thread you created.

Sometime yes. Cause many of the airdrop are doing for their community growth. Like twitter and telegrams. Some of them collect all the private data of us and sell to third-party on internet.
