So I am now holding a crapload of alt coins that Crptsy won't open orders to sell because the spread has moved too low.  Guess I got over eager.  I was up over .1 btc in about 18 hours.  Now if I sold I would be down about .3 btc

This parameter works only on current orders of kind PONG+SELL

I think what I have is the same:

Bought an alt coin but now it won't generate the sale order because the sell price calculated is too low.  Why would it not still create at the higher sale price?

Because reference price is 0.00830012 (The price you have bought)
If CAT sell at 0.00830006 you will have a LOSS, not a GAIN. CAT is written to guaranteed  GAIN. 

Only if you set the SELL ALL parameters you accept to have a Loose.

Right my point is why would it not at least have a higher sell point set in case of a bounce?  I was just curious.

I totally recommend CAT. I have it for 3 days and I can say that I have earned good. Even with the lag.

Don't aim high, until Cryptsy stands on its feet.

Yes, but it works slowly. And if the balance will not return there's the risk to have a timeout after 25 retry.

Can you explain a little better what the percent field in Aggressive actually represents?  I'm having a hard time understanding it and want to be sure I'm not screwing myself   Been running with it set to 1%.

It means that CAT will complete a :

Buy -> Sell
or
Sell -> Buy

Only if the difference of price between the 2 operation is at least 1%

And then (Buy/SellQuantity*Price)-(Sell/BuyQuantity*Price) = GAIN

Are you planning to include the USD pairs when cryptsy supports trading for fiat currencies?

If you do, you should give all the buyers from the first auction access to that copy before everyone else.
