I have only been running CAT for a few weeks, but have already ROI by giving it between 0.5 and 1.0 BTC value to trade with in Normal mode (set at 1-2%). It was slower before alt-fever took hold, getting about 1-4% a day, which is still great. The last 48 hours was 0.75 BTC gain by trading 0.9 BTC the first day and adding another 0.9 BTC after 24 hours. I'm working on another log over 0.40 BTC since this was stopped yesterday.

I am a beginning trader, but for people having trouble:

1. Check CAT periodically, as markets sometimes stop, so re-do PING and restart that market.

2. Sometimes a PONG order won't go through because of the market, so you may buy coins you don't want to hold (or sell coins you wanted to hold). It sounds obvious, but only trade an amount you feel comfortable holding/selling in case the PONG doesn't complete.
 
-> Oswald, if you tell CAT to sell all your coins, it will do so and may not always be able buy them back. And why so bearish on alts this week?

3. If too many orders get left behind, I will add BTC or coins to get things moving again, sometimes cancelling old orders, sometimes not.

4. Plan on spending a little time with CAT to get the best gain, it's not completely automatic and needs someone to drive it

Cryptsy's estimation can be way too high and I believe they said not to trust it 100%.

Sorry for delay. Please look at screenshots below. i used buy/sell pingpong on WDC/BTC.  CAT buyed 76WDC@0.00073417, now best sell/buy prices are at @0.0005, this is about 46% below.

I think cryptsy simply lost my order...

Someone see strange cryptsy behavior how? too small amount of current orders on many markets, when checked my estimated portfolio, it halved since i checked it 6 hours ago. I'm sure, this is not CAT fault...

Order books appear to have been wiped.  I have not seen any coin that was held for open buy orders.

Trade with caution! look at the price as some have set up high sells and low buys.

edit it's not CAT, just Cryptsy   

This happens when
Order Cancel -> Refund Is Too slow -> Cat is trying to recreate order while Cryptsy haven't refund. Call is aborted after 25 Retry.

Hope new server comes soon on Cryptsy

We apologize for the delay in refunds / deposits and slow trades. We implemented a more efficient audit system today but it will take some time to recover from the switch over. If your refund has has not processed within a few hours please contact us so we can look into the issue further. The long delays are only temporary until the new system catches up.

My estimated portfolio was at 6+ BTC yesterday. It's at 2(edit: now at)1 BTC today. Didn't have anything close to that amount in any market. Hope that is just the cryptsy balance issues.

Also experiencing where C.A.T. just stops trading and you have to stop and restart your orders.

And just now hitting restart pong orders on one of the markets froze the whole program after spending a good amount of time getting it setup.

Its nothing to worry about. It's def. the refunding issues and not a CAT issue. Hopefully Cryptsy is able to handle this well.

I'm not trading until they've got it all sorted out (It's not any use anyways as because the trade refunds aren't going through, you'll eventually just run out of money until the issue is sorted. You'll just keep getting those not enough in balance errors).
