I have recently updated my CGminer running inside of BAMT to the latest version.  Since then, I have not been able to connect to ABC.  Can connect directly to OZ, Eclipse, etc, but cannot get ABC to work. Something change?  I am using a config file in BAMT, which I have always have done, and have had no problems in the past.

Hi Zanatos666,

Could you try running CGminer without BAMT? Does this work?

Chlorine

Unfortunately I do not have a separate system to test this on just yet unless I move cards to a Windows system.

It seemed to have been working fine before I updated CGMiner in BAMT to 2.7.7, which I needed to do in order to connect to stratum servers, but now I cannot connect to ABC.

Hi Zanatos666,

Unfortunately we don't have the resources to support and troubleshoot all available software /clients. ABCPool supports the getwork inferface; stratum is not supported atm. All the common clients seem to have been working for our users. We suggest you check the BAMT or CGMiners-forum. Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,
Chlorine.

I take it, since you don't support Stratum, ASIC mining isn't a possibility on ABCPool, right?

Although ASIC mining at ABCPool is possible, the Stratum protocol is not supported atm. This means that (atm) you will not get the full potential of ASIC mining at ABCPool.

I've been a happy user for a couple of weeks now.

Can't complain.

Any idea when you gentlemen at ABCPool will add ASIC support?

Hi ScaryHash,

Good to hear you are a happy user. As long as our users are happy, we are happy! ;-)

About the ASIC support: At this moment we are working very hard on another innovative bitcoin project. When we have this up & running (in a couple of weeks), we will review the possibilities for a thorough redesign of ABCPool. ASIC support is on top of our list!

Cheers,
Chlorine.

Payment Bitcoin daemon is temporarily down. This is usually because it is restarting. Check again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact us.

has been like this for about 1 hour

Hi guys,

The internal harddisk of the main production instance died while making a backup. It only contained non-vital data, so balances and wallets are safe. We are now rebuilding the contents. This may take a while, as the blockchain will have to be re-downloaded.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
MC

The pool is available again. Amazon support could not recover any data from the failed disk anymore, so we rebuilt it from scratch.

Happy hashing!

Hi Chunglam,

Please allow the transaction some time to be processed by the network. Within a couple of hours you should have received your well-earned BTC's. :-)

Kind regards,
Chlorine.

I just noticed that for the last couple of days the hashrate per second does not update and also the workers take forever! to update as to them being online or not, and their hash rate.

I've been playing around switching graphics cards and would actually like to see that hash rate for each worker displayed. It does not really seem to update very often at all (on the order of HOURS !).

Thanks !
