Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I'm trusting MtGox right now. I don't think they will screw me. If they do, they won't take THAT much though..

I feel like this is a fairly common concept of the internet, I can't believe there are still people that can't grasp the fact that they should keep their personal information private.

Man, if I could get out of noob jail, I'd have a solution to enhance the "trust no one"-ness of Bitcoin.

Seriously. Don't trust the exchanges, don't trust online wallet services, don't trust your anti-virus software, and don't trust anybody online.

Good point, but sometimes you just need to trust even stranger to start business or get what you want - sometimes you get burned sometimes good business. Of course biggers amounts makes trust more and more important. But you have to start from somewhere - sometimes from zero.

Well maybe I'm taking a risk having peerbet installed on the same phone I store my BTC on.  Please PM me if you think that this is is a bad idea.
